Character Name: Eleos Eiríni (el-ee-yos ee-reen-ee)

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Birthplace: Alian

Physical Appearance: Eleos is warm. His hair is usually a mangled mess, thick brown waves pilling on top of each other to form mountains and hills. The light plays with his hair unevenly, making some parts lighter than the rest, but light is captured nonetheless. His eyes are a sleepy hazel, more murky than bright green. If seen closely, one can notice grey specks flying around, bringing more rays of light to them. His face is almost perfectly clear, except for the few freckles here and there on his cheeks. These freckles are adorned and highlighted by his thin lips and button-nose that seem to work together. His skin tone is hard to describe: it's not tan, but it's not pale. It's not peachy, but it's not brown either. It's been labeled "olive," but Eleos doesn't like to be compared to food. Eleos stands at about six foot two, tall but not gigantically so. And he only seems taller because of his lean build, calves and arms tight with muscles. His most noticeable feature, however, are his hands. Even after years of work, they remain soft and gentle, but are full of strength to wield any tool.

Personality: Again, Eleos is warm. But this warmth is more clouded than it looks. He is soft and graceful in all his doings. Soft in the things he handles, full of care. Graceful in the way he completes things, only giving the best he can. He is a benign man full of benevolence and charity. Alian's peoples have taught him to treat everyone with respect, no matter their rank in the social pyramid. So he has. He is respectful and polite to every person he has met so far. Everyone seems to like it so he continues to follow in these footsteps. The ways of the merciful Alian people have etched into his mind and flow out in every aspect of his life. Whether working or socializing. But he craves more: he wants to be a relentless boy with too long limbs that just needs to run. He wants to be so full of energy that is becomes extremely annoying. So outspoken, that people in his community actually speak against him. None of this will happen, however. Eleos Eiríni is a boy too attached to his amazing ways already, far to in love with his ways of life. Of course he will never lose his Alian zeal, but there will always be a part of him that will crave this slight change of heart.

Past: Eleos has grown up in the ideal land with the ideal people. Living a nomadic life in the Grasslands was as simple as it could be; there was nothing to truly worry or ponder about. As a child, he spent his time gathering and digging for roots, it was the simplistic jobs he could to at his young age. Sometimes he would wade in the shallow waters of his terrain before he was called home. Home was always temporary, and it changed as the seasons went by. If he wasn't out in the Grassland by himself, he was trailing behind his older siblings - Cassia and Cassio, a set of twins. The two were more protective over Eleos than their parents were, which speaks volumes. Although, looking back at it, he didn't need protection. No one in Alian would ever think of hurting anyone, especially a young and innocent boy. His parents were all too quick to engrave him with that saying, "No one will hurt you in Alian. We are welcoming and worriless. We are merciful to all that seek help." He believed it, and he continues to do so now.

Growing up as a teenager, he had more responsibilities. There were current fields to tend to, waterfowl to fish, roots to dig, and lessons to attend. Even if his entire day consisted of mostly physical labor, weekly lessons were his favorite, it's where he felt alive. He always had a yearning for knowledge, and lessons filled that hole. But compared to the other sub-kingdoms and port cities, Alian's education was eccentric. A boy didn't learn how to manage business and keep records. A girl didn't learn to sew or knit or be a mother. No, they learned far more important things. They learned how to be people. How to be as virtuous and ambitious as the people of Lemaria; brave and loyal and just, like the people of Valden, Tanad, and Miras. To be kind, but cautious, like those from Cadosa and Galiesia. Gallant like the Raleith people. Hopeful, generous, and noble, like all the knights of Oceaf, Migolith, and Belmoor. He was taught how to be selfless like the Fallholt. He learned all of this in his lessons, and it began to weave him into the man he would later become. All of this taught him to be merciful of everyone, because every person was a good at heart, and never intended to be otherwise.

As he got older, Eleos began to truly apply himself in the real world of Alian. The community stayed the same, of course. But now he had to have a profession. And he couldn't decide at all, there were so many to choose from, but so little options all at the same time. It was the vaguest hint of stress that he felt. However, he overcame it by continuing to be a Jack of all trades, getting handiwork wherever he was needed. That was always the point of real work for Eleos anyway. It wasn't how much money he made, or who he worked for. It was how he worked, how he poured himself into every job.

Life was simple and lovely and everything Alian.

Skills: He is considered unskilled, but only because he hasn't found his true profession. He's the "Jack of all trades, master on none" guy in Alian. However, the people of Alian are said to be eager to learn, which he is, and quick to master, which he hopes he'll be. He can tell someone straight off the bat just how easily he managed to use a bow and arrow in an hour. It was the deep fervor he felt when holding the instrument that got him to master it, not because he was so keen on learning it. His voice is said to cure, even if the only person he has healed are his twin siblings from sore throats - a cure of irony within itself.

Strengths: He has a good heart - and if that doesn't make a knight, than nothing else should. Eleos is loyal until the very end, his end. If a person that he loves is passes away, he will cherish them until he no longer has the will to do so. He is a boy of jumbled limbs and eager hands. This leads him to be a great runner, and a guy than is pumped for anything to come. He can easily persuade anyone to do anything because of his honey enriched voice.

Weaknesses: The most obvious is that he is too quick to forgive. It's in his nature to automatically forgive anyone and everyone for their trespassing. One might try to mess with him on purpose, but he'll forgive this said person immediately. Eleos is easy to deceive in the sense that he doesn't believe people are capable of doing a wrong. One might occasionally break a rule, but they are still good and pure, and shouldn't be judged by any means possible.
