♔ Character Name: Aloïsa Beaumarchais(Ah-loy-sa Beu-mar-cha-ice)

♔ Gender: Female

♔ Age: Twenty-five

Birthplace: Ralieth

Physical Appearance: Wind-tossed, scraggly brunette hair falls just past Aloïsa's shoulders in loose ringlets, framing her smooth, tanned face. Her eyes are an unappealing murky brown in color, the shade of mud and mire, though if you look close enough you can see the flecks of green in the brown. She stands at 5'3", falling short just below average, but what Aloïsa lacks in height she makes up in physical strength. Lean and wiry with skin toughened by the heat of the desert, she is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

♔ Personality: Aloïsa is strong. Courageous. Powerful. Resolute. You will never see her backing down from a challenge or fight. Though her fighting style is often dubbed uncustomary to the usual spears and short blades that most knights from Raleith are usually skilled with, Aloïsa is more comfortable with a simple bow and arrow. She is a fair player, and though not afraid to get her hands dirty, she respects the knights who have more experience than her and will never do anything unsportsmanlike. Aloïsa does, at times, have a sharp tongue and a quick mind to go with it, and has a bad habit of speaking before thinking.

♔ Past: Even from a young age, Aloïsa was often regarded as "different". She was of different shape and build than the other girls her age of Ralieth, her skin tone was lighter and so were her hair and eyes. She began to think that she was adopted, and though there is no evidence to prove it and her parents deny it, it still remains her theory even to this day. Aloïsa worked hard in her father's vineyard which did good business, but in her teenage years started yearning for more. On her fifteenth birthday, Aloïsa was given a crafted wooden bow and arrow set which she still uses, and it was from then on her love for archery blossomed, growing into a passion until she set her mind to become a knight, and enter the coveted Trials of Valor.

♔ Skills: Though she may be more skilled in the art of archery than in bladed combat, Aloïsa still processes some basic skills with spears and daggers. She knows the few key factors about identifying and using poisons, but her biggest skill is her natural mastery at archery.

♔ Strengths: Archery. Her main strength. Aloïsa hardly ever misses her target. Her wit and quick-thinking in times of emergency comes next. She is smart, in her own little way - she knows how to observe and memorize important things if need be, and remembers tracks and trials extremely well.

♔ Weaknesses: Aloïsa cannot swim to save her life, which is not surprising, considering she comes from a city which is located in the desert. Also, though usually polite, Aloïsa's imagination can run away from her, and with it her tongue as well. She can't tolerate anyone whiny or annoying, someone who is an attention seeker - especially if they have a voice that sounds like nails scraping across a chalkboard.

COMMENTS FROM THE ROYAL COURT:

King Artheur: An archer from Raleith? Certainly, that is an unusual combination. But I'm sure that your drive to prove yourself makes you very talented. I look forward to meeting you, my dear.

Queen Melinda: Archers are so stupid. You're nothing special.

Roland Delmere: Another valiant hopeful with unshakable morals! Scrub all that nonsense from yourself quickly girl. Learn the art of subterfuge or find a knife placed swiftly in your back...

Sir Thomas: I heard a song about girls from Raleith once. "Pretty and pink, but they'll poison your drink, faster than you'll ever know. They'll flirt and they'll tease, and take what they please, or at least that's how the story does go. But they're sharp as a knife, so lads don't trust your life, to a beautiful Raleithian wife." Surely a petite girl such as yourself will have a hard time living up to that.

Sir Adeline: I love a girl who can fight! Remember that you do not learn until you first miss the target. Never forget that it took years to gain your skill and it'll take years more before you can truly master it.
