Character Name: Edmund of the Forest

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Birthplace: Belmoor

Physical Appearance: Edmund is not an unattractive man, standing at 6'5" with neatly styled caramel brown hair and piercing blue eyes. From climbing ladders and training with the recurve bow from a very young age, Edmund's arms and legs are incredibly muscular, causing many other Belmoor ladies to swoon. He is always seen in rich colors, with a leather quiver and bow slung haphazardly slung over one shoulder.

Personality: On the outside, Edmund is just as noble as the next around, but deep down he hides his true self. He pushes away anyone who might have a chance to learn who he really is, because he is scared they will use his weaknesses against him. So, instead of facing his past, Edmund brushes away any potential love interests, and patches up his soul with pieces of loyalty, honor, and chivalry. He lives by the Knights' Code, and uses it as glue to keep him from falling apart.

Past: Edmund's parents were killed when he was very young, so he was never given a proper title, thus being referred to as 'Edmund of the Forest.' He's hoping to get a real title after the competition. He's always grown up in the care of Belmoor as a whole because of a lack of real parents. Everyone knew him, and he was there as everyone grew up. He met a girl, Allison, and fell in love. Allison found out everything about him. His deepest fears. His interests. His skills.

Allison eventually lost interest in him and moved on, taking all of his secrets with her. Since then, he's vowed never to let anyone get close enough to him to learn anything about him.

But, that was a long time ago. Since then, he has grown into a stronger man. He is rational, and is a good judge of character, knowing who and who not to trust. Most of all, he's moved past Allison, and is brushing aside any possible love interest, not because of the breach into his soul, but he simply doesn't have time any more. All his attention is diverted to finding, and bringing justice, to his parent's murders.

Skills: He is an excellent Archer, and it isn't hard for him to make alliances with women, because of his looks, masculinity, and his manor.

Strengths: He is honorable, kind, and just. These qualities make him desirable as a knight, helping him make alliances, friends, and win fairly. He has a perfect set of morals. He is also incredibly athletic from climbing trees and hunting with a bow.

Weaknesses: Having a good set of morals can also make a person unlikeable, because he refuses to cheat, or allow anyone else to do so. This can also make enemies. He is unskilled in most weapons, beside the bow and little use with the sword.
