Cadosa Male: Zenith Nadir
"Welcome, sir. Please follow me," as the servant welcomed me in a grand feast with the Royal Family and rest of the admirable knights. Tonight was to celebrate our bravery, and a time for relaxation. A large table in the center was covered with a red cloth, displaying delicious and delicate dishes from Elusia.
I took a seat at the middle section of the table, sitting next to other titanium souls who are also willing to sacrifice their well-beings for his Majesty the King. The dish in front of me was some Oceaf Golden Steak, seasoned with a sauce which consists of gold foil, black pepper, saffron, and wine. No, Zenith. Wait for his Majesty to start first. So there I waited.
"I, the King, congratulate all you eleven courageous men for successfully pass the five challenges which we had set up. As I finish my first bite, we can start celebrating this day with the most valuable food of the Kingdom." After His Majesty took a bite of the vermillion lobster, everyone roared in like lions and started taking away food from the center of the table to their own plate. I took some of the steak and some of the saffron rice. It was too late to get other meals; the dishes were all empty.
"Hello Zenith," his Majesty greeted to me, "can you come with me please."
"My pleasure, your Majesty," I followed him into an empty, dark room and sat down on a chair.
"So, how was the challenges overall, is it good or bad?"
"It is indeed very outstanding, your Majesty"
"How do you think I should improve the tasks?"
"Well, I'd say more fighting. I, as a part of Nadir, only has high performances in poisoning, but what I do believe, is that I should start applying my not-very-satisfying fighting skills and strengthen them with the tactics of what my opponent uses."
"Oh whoops, I think I left my steak knife on the table, can you help me take it?"
"Sure, your Majesty," I stood up and walked back in the dining hall to grab his Majesty's cutlery, but to my notice, the knife wasn't there. I ran back into the room with nothing in my hands."
"Your Majesty, your knife isn't–" I saw a shadow which went behind his Majesty with a steak knife, and stabbed it behind his Majesty's back. No! Don't die! We need you! But there he was, sitting dead, with his back of the neck spewing plasma. "Sir, you're not going away."
The man escaped from the window, and ran away from the castle. "Chase him!" I shouted to the guards. I hopped out of the castle and tried to run over him. It was too late. He was lost in the sea of people in Lemuria.
I looked at his lap. It was a small piece of paper.
