Raven's POV:

Today's the date. Today is the day I find out if Beast Boy and I will work. I looked through my closet for something to wear, because I couldn't just wear my cloak. I looked and looked but all their was in my closet was cloaks. I craned my neck to see if anything else was in my closet, and to my surprise, their was a dark blue dress that came just above my knees, with long lace sleeves. The color was perfect. It was perfect. I stepped out of my cloak and into my dress. I didn't want to seem to formal so I put on some high tops in the same color of my dress. Then, I stuck a blue hair clip in my hair and brushed it out. I looked pretty nice for a half-demon who lives in a dark cloak and feeds off of darkness. I lightly smiled. I'm sure Beast Boy would like how I looked.
"Hey, Mama! You ready?" Beast Boy called out to me and stepped into my room. He had a black tux on with a pink bow-tie. We didn't exactly match color wise, but we would look cute together. "Wow, Rae. You look good." He said and smiled.
"Oh, thank you." I said nervously.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I'm just scared that it won't work out and that I'll hurt you.
"Don't be scared, this will work, Rae." He reassured me then held out his hand. "Now if I do remember correctly, we have a date to go on." He said as I took his hand and walked out of the tower.

Beast Boy's POV:

We pulled up to the restaurant and got out of the car. I had already called and made seating arrangements.
"Hello. Please follow me to your seat." A short hostess announced. Raven squeezed my hand. I knew she was nervous.
"Hey, Rae, don't worry. It's only a date, there's nothing to be afraid of." I said, even though there was. Her name was Terra. We sat down at a candlelit table for two. Raven smiled for a second, but then her signature fearful look once again washed over her face. "Raven." I said, being serious. "You don't have to worry about hurting me. I loved you ever since we met and literally nothing can take that away from me, even if you make a mistake. Every day I love you more and more even if I don't think it's possible. Look, you don't need to worry. You look stunning, this place is amazing, and we love each other. Nothing can ruin that." I said and watched her face light up.
"You mean that?" She asked.
"Every word." I said. I meant it because I loved her, and I meant it because she wouldn't mess up. I would, because I couldn't stop Terra. I couldn't stand the thought of her name. It reminds me of heartbreak and rocks. I was smacked out of my thoughts as the waiter poured us some water and asked,
"What would you guys like to eat tonight?"
"I'll just have some spaghetti." Raven said.
"With meatballs?" The waiter asked.
"Sure." She said and giggled a little at me.
"I'll just have what she's having, but no meatballs. I'm a vegetarian." I said. The waiter nodded. I sat back a little in my chair and started to have a normal conversation with Raven. This date was going pretty well, until I saw a mass of blonde hair and light blue eyes walk through the door.
