Lily's POV
"Hello?" I asked.
"It's me." Cheyenne sang through the phone.
"So you're obsessed with that song now?"
"You know it!" She said making me laugh.
"What do you need?" I asked.
"Something happened."
I sat up in bed before getting a little concerned.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I don't know." She said.
"I swear Cheyenne you act like a freaking ten year old!" I said causing her to laugh.
"You know you love me."
"Sometimes." I said.
"So. How are you and Gabe?"
"Good. I mean we literally just got married almost a year ago." I said blushing.
"I hear you talking about me." Gabe said opening the bedroom door.
"Speak of the devil. Hey Cheyenne I'll call you later. Love ya."
"Love ya!"
I hung up the phone and Gabe collapsed on the bed right next to me.
"I made breakfast." He said.
"What'd you make?"
"Take a guess."
I tapped my chin pretending to think. Then I remembered that he promised to make me whatever I wanted the night before.
"Blueberry pancakes!" I gasped.
He nodded as I squealed. I quickly hopped off the bed and ran as fast as I could down the stairs if our apartment to get it our kitchen.
"Mmm it smells amazing." I said closing my eyes.
I then felt arms snake around my waist.
"Thank you." I said turning around and wrapping my arms around Gabe's neck.
"No problem." He said before placing a small kiss on my lips.
"Now hurry and eat. I'm taking you somewhere today." He said excitedly as I sat down.
"Do I have to dress up all fancy?" I asked.
"Nope. Just normal clothes." He said.
I took a bite and instantly fell in love.
"Oh my god these taste amazing." I exclaimed.
"Thank my mom." He said smiling.
"Mama Conte always makes the best meals." I said smiling.
Gabe nodded in agreement before I finished my pancakes. I then walked upstairs before putting some jeans, a long sleeve burgundy shirt, and my white converse.
I straightened my hair and did light makeup. After I finished, I looked in the mirror and just looked at myself.
Ever since I've been with Gabe, I've learned how to love myself. I've learned how to look in a mirror and not hate myself.
"Lily you ready?" Gabe called from outside the bedroom door.
I quickly put on some lipgloss before walking out and seeing Gabe. He was wearing jeans, and a white shirt.
"Wow." He said looking at me.
I blushed looking at my outfit.
"Okay let's go!" He said grabbing my arm.
We ran out to the car and immediately started driving.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see." He said with a devilish smirk on his face.
I shot him a quick glare before turning the radio on.
"You used to call me on my cell phone."
I immediately turned the radio off earning a small laugh from Gabe.
"That's my jam." He said giving me the pouty lip.
"It's a retarted song." I said.
"Whatever. You know you love it."
"Maybe in some other alternate universe."
He chuckled a bit before we pulled up to a place with a huge grassy hill.
"Do we have to walk up that?" I asked.
"Oh stop complaining. You'll be amazed when you see what's on the other side." He said bridge we got out of the cad and walked hand in hand up the hill.
"Oh god I think I'm gonna die!" I said when we got to the top.
"Lily look!" Gabe said.
I looked up and saw something so beautiful I was shocked.
"A waterfall? In California? I never knew California had waterfalls?" I said looking at it in 'awe'.
"It's beautiful." I said.
I looked over at Gabe and saw him looking at me.
"I found it the other day. Thought you might like it." He said shrugging.
"I love it." I said pulling him in for a kiss.
Yayy I finally updated!! Well I know this sucks but the book will get better. I promise. Love ya lovelies!!😘
