Lily's POV
"Oh my goodness yay!"
I giggled a bit before biting my lip.
"Yes! Grandkids are coming soon!" Mr. Conte said through the phone.
"A grandkid is coming soon." Gabe corrected.
I looked down at my stomach knowing that soon my stomach is going to look like I ate a whole watermelon.
I giggled at my thoughts before looking back at Gabe.
"Alright well it's late here. So we're going to let you two go." Mrs. Conte said.
"Alright. Good night mom. Night dad."
"Good night Gabriel. Good night to you too Lily."
"Good night." I said before Gabe hung up.
"Ahh. I'm gonna be a dad in nine months." Gabe said before laying back.
"I know." I said smiling.
"And I'm going to be a mom."
"You are going to be a great mom." He said before kissing my neck.
"And you are going to be a great dad." I said before laying on my stomach.
"What do you think it's going to be?" Gabe asked after a minute of silence.
"I don't know."
"What do you want it to be?"
"Hmm?" I pondered for a bit.
"I think a boy." I smiled.
"And whys that?"
"Well. He'll probably look a lot like you for one. And ever since I first learned about pregnancy and all that stuff, I've just wanted a boy."
"That sounds weird. I'm sorry." I said before putting my face in my hands in embarrassment.
"Hey it's fine." Gabe laughed before he kissed my cheek.
"What do you want it be?" I asked.
"A girl." He said right after I asked the question.
"Woah. That was quick." I giggled.
"I know. But yes, I want a girl."
"Why?"
"Because she'll be my gem. And if anyone were to hurt her, I'd go absolutely crazy." He explained.
"Awe." I said and bit my lip.
"That's also how I feel about you."
"When your dad knocked you into the coma that one day, I felt like I was gonna go crazy." He said.
I looked at him with a bit of concern and he looked up at me with a twinkle in his eyes.
I smiled at him before he pecked my lips.
"We've literally been in here since I told you. We need to go out." I said.
"But I'm too lazy!" Gabe whined as I stood up.
"Fine. I guess I'll go shopping all by myself." I smirked before changing into different clothes.
He groaned before sitting up.
"Nah. Still too lazy." He said before laying back down on the bed.
"I guess that means I'll take Helene with so we can both get our belly buttons pierced." I joked.
