Lily's POV
"So Lily. How have you and Gabe been?" Helene asked.
"Good. What about you and Louis?"
"Amazing." She said before looking at Louis and Gabe who were playing water basketball.
"Where'd Sofia go?" I asked.
"I think she went to go get drinks for us."
I nodded before looking at Gabe again. We made a quick eye contact before I blushed and looked away.
"Hey. Get over here!" Louis yelled.
"No. We are tanning." Helene said before laying back in her lawn chair.
"Please?" Gabe yelled.
I shook my head before closing my eyes and taking a deep breath.
"Fine." One of the guys yelled.
I let out a small chuckle before feeling arms wrap around my waist.
"Gabe!" I yelled as he threw me over his shoulder.
"Gabe. Put me down!"
"Nope." He said before he threw me in the water.
When I came up I glared at him.
"I'll get you." I said before he jumped in next to me.
"You know you love me." He said before pulling me into a hug.
"Sometimes" I said jokingly.
"Sometimes? Well then." He said before turning away from me.
I swam up to him before placing a kiss on the back of his neck.
"You're horrible." He said with a smirk on his lips.
"I try to be." I said shrugging my shoulders.
I pecked his cheek before getting out of the pool.
"Where are you going?" Gabe asked.
"Pee!" I yelled.
"Have fun. Don't fall in!" Louis yelled.
"I'll try."
I swear to god these guys are the best.
As I walked into the bathroom, I took a quick look at myself before a look of terror spread over my face.
"Did I join the black parade or something?"
(If any of you got that reference I'm sorry😐)
Then I kept looking at myself. I looked at every little aspect about my face.
The freckle above my lip. My ugly colored eyes. My horrible smile.
How could anyone love a girl like you? You're hideous?
I gasped before biting my lip. I looked over at the shower and saw Helene's razor.
Come on Lily. Be strong. You've been clean for almost three years. You can do this.
Do it Lily. I dare you.
I started panting as I started to get worried.
Stay strong Lily. Stay Strong Lily. Stay stro-
"Lily. Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah. I-I'm fine."
Then the door opened and here stood Gabe.
"Lily what's wrong?"
"Gabe. I-I don't know what's going on with me right now. I feel like the weight of the world was just placed on my shoulders and and."
Before I could ramble on anymore, Gabe pressed his lips against mine and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
I set my hands on his chest before kissing him back.
"Are you okay?"
"I am now." I said forcing a small smile.
He pulled me into a hug and it felt like everything in the world didn't matter right then.
Damn. How is Gabe able to do this?
