Chapter 14

Lily's POV

*flashback dream*

"No Mikey. Don't leave me." I said grabbing onto his arm.

"Do you want Derek or your mom to catch us and kill you?" He asked.

"No. But please. Just a few more minutes." I said before running my hand down his chest.

He bit his lip before rolling his eyes.

"Fine. Only a few more minutes." He said before pecking my lips.

I smiled before we just sat and talked for a little bit.

I heard the front door slam from downstairs before Mikey and I jumped off my bed.

"I'm so sorry." I said before pecking his lips and practically pushing him out my window so we didn't get caught.

He jumped down before running down to his house which wasn't too far from mine.

I sat back down on my bed covering my dad with my hands.

I'm so sorry.

I still feel like it is.

He didn't respond which actually kind of hurt.

I plugged my phone I'm before laying down.

"Your daughter's a fucking slut!"

"Like I didn't know that!" My mom yelled.

"And that douchebag boyfriend of hers is fucking stupid!"

Those words lingered in my head

I swallowed the lump in my throat before hearing my door open.

"Lily!" Derek yelled.

I bit my lip knowing what was going to happen.

He smacked me.

It stung, but I guess I'm used to it now.

I sat up in bed taking short breaths. I then grabbed my phone and looked up the article.

Two teenagers get in horrible accident. One survived. One died.

On the evening of July 23rd 2013, 16 year old Michael Cantor and 16 year old Lily Jacobson were in a terrifying car accident at approximately 2:35 am.

My hands started shaking as I got to the next part.

When Doctor Aaron Schroder were looking at the bodies, they found illegal drugs in the teenagers' bodies.

Cantor had Ecstasy, LSD, and acid in his body while Jacobson had only Ecstasy and Acid.

Both Cantor and Jacobson are in the hospital, but only one is alive.

Cantor sadly was killed when the accident happened while Jacobson was only knocked out for a few hours.

Cantor's body is still being studied by doctors while Jacobson is still being treated.

I felt the tears falling down my face. Two, even three were falling at a time.

I looked over at Gabe and saw him starting to wake up.

"Lily? What are you doing awake?"

I didn't answer. I just kept quiet.

Gabe turned the lamp on before looking at me.

"Oh my god Lily are you okay?" He asked noticing my tears.

I shook my head before letting out a loud sob and falling into his arms.

He held me there in his arms for a long time while I just cried.

When I calmed down a bit, Gabe looked at me.

"What happened?" He asked.

I sighed before tell him everything.

The accident, Mikey dying on impact, the drugs, the article.

I let out a few more tears before he pressed his lips against mine.

He pulled away after about a minute before looking me in the eyes.

"You need to get some sleep." He said.

I nodded before biting my lip and falling asleep again.
