Chapter 28

Lily's POV

He cheated on me. He actually cheated on me. And he didn't tell me for almost five months.

I sit on a bench at the park with my hands on my stomach. I look down and smile, but tears soon began falling from my eyes.

Where do I even stay?

I feel my phone vibrate and I know it's Gabe so I just ignore it.

I love him to the fucking moon and back, but I'm so heartbroken I don't know what to do at the moment.

"Well, where should we go?" I ask my stomach just hoping for an answer.

"We can go to Cheyenne's place and hang out for a while."

I jump as I hear a voice from behind me. I look and see Cheyenne just laughing her ass off.

"Oh my god Cheyenne really? You could've sent me into labor." I laugh.

"Sorry. I just thought it'd be fun to see you get scared since it hasn't happened in a while." She shrugged.

I roll my eyes before she looks at me and sees the tear stains.

"Babe what's wrong?"

"Gabe." I say.

She sighs before pulling me in for a hug.

I bite my lip to keep my tears back and it actually works this time.

"Lets go to my house, we can talk more about it."

I nod before standing up and we walk to her car.

Gabe's POV

"God. I messed up again." I say.

Corey and Brennan try to comfort me but it just isn't working.

"I should have just told her the night it happened. It would've made things easier. But I waited too long and screwed it up and again."

"Gabe it'll be alright. She just said she needed a little break and she'll be back when she's ready." Corey said.

I swallow the lump in my throat, "Yeah, but what if she waits too long and ends up not telling that she's giving birth to the baby."

That made no sense.

"She's not like that," Brennen said, "she'd obviously have someone call you."

I shook my head and went to get water.

"Don't sorry too much Gabe. She'll be back before you know it."

I need someone who knows me better than I know myself.

"Hey I'll be back in a little bit. You're welcome to stay if you want." I say and grab my keys and a jacket and leave my house.

"Gabe. What are you doing here?"

"I needed to talk to you. I have more people to talk to, but I need to talk to you the most."

I walk in and sit on the couch and mess with my hands.

I feel the seat next to me sink and I begin to speak.

"I messed up with Lily again. And I thought you would be the only person to help cause you've been with me all the times I messed up. I just really need my best friend now."

Louis smiles and lets me rant and cry and he just listens to everything that happened.

UGH!!!! I tried to make this a long chapter but it just didn't work out and I feel so bad for not updating in like months. But I hold you like this chapter and please don't hate me for not posting in ages😅😕
