I'm sorry I messed up last night
Helene it's okay. But I'm hurt that you smoked in my house.
I know it was wrong. I'm sorry.
We finished the phone call before we hung up and I set my phone down.
Where's Gabe?
I looked all over the house before giving up. He's probably with Brennan or Louis.
I sat down on the couch with a sigh before grabbing my laptop and looking at all of mine and Gabe's pictures.
The one from my birthday, the one from our lake date, our wedding, our trip to Florida and just so many more.
Tears began to fill my eyes as I saw the picture of the day Gabe proposed to me.
I grabbed the sleeves of my sweatshirt before wiping away the tear that fell from my eye.
If I could relive that day, I definitely would.
I heard the front door open and turned around to see Gabe with a lot of bags.
"Where'd you go?" I asked.
"Somewhere." He said smiling.
"You're not gonna tell me huh?" I asked folding my arms.
He kissed my nose before going to the kitchen.
"Well, I went to the store and got some more grocery stuff, and then I went to the gas station to get some ice cream, and then I went to Walmart and grabbed stuff to make banana splits." He said smiling.
"Awe Gabe!" I said before running into his arms.
"I love you." I whispered into his chest.
"I love you too." He said before kissing my neck sending chills down my back.
"So. How are we gonna make these banana splits?" I asked before putting my hands on my hips.
"Do you have experience with banana splits?"
"Not at all."
"Then we're screwed." He said making me giggle a bit.
"HEY!" He yelled almost giving me a heart attack.
"What?"
"We should invite Brennan over."
"Does he live in California?" I asked.
"Positive." He said smiling.
"Alright. He can bring someone if he wants." I said shrugging.
"Okay." He said before pulling out his phone and heading to the bedroom.
I put the stuff that we weren't using for banana splits away and put the ice cream in the freezer so it wouldn't melt.
"Brennan and his roommate are coming over." Gabe said coming out of the bedroom.
I nodded before I looked at the house.
"I really need to clean." I said.
"We can clean after Brennan leaves." Gabe said putting his hands on my waist.
"But I don't want it to look dirty. Especially since someone I don't know is coming over." I explained.
"I think you know who his roommate is." He said smiling.
