After the rebel attack is over, I go to the infirmary.
"Don't worry," I promise,"I swear we'll do our absolute best to get the remedy for you."
"I second that," Kaden says, walking into the room.
"Huh. I wonder how everyone has the ability to magically appear?" I joke.
"Hmm, I've wondered that too," he replies.
"Do you worry 'what if we don't impress the prince and we ruin any chance of getting the remedy?'" I ask.
"All the time. It's a lot of responsibility for sixteen year olds to make sure we get a life-saving heart problems remedy," Kaden says.
"How do some other royals hide their emotions so well? I've barely made it for a few days," I muse.
"We care more than they do. It's both a gift and a curse," Kaden replies.
