The Prince isn't horrible, but he isn't good either.

"Try lunging like this," I say, explaining after he trips.

He tries, and somehow ends up falling flat on his face.

"Okay, let's take a break before you break something," Kaden says,"pun not intended."

"A Prince never quits," Prince August replies.

"A Prince also has to avoid breaking his bones," I tell him, putting my épée away.

"Oh, alright," Prince August agrees.

Kaden and I attempt to find Eadlyn, but she can't be found in her rooms, Dad's office, or the Women's room. We try asking Kile, but he is also impossible to find.

"Whatever. Let's just go to the gardens or something," Kaden suggests.

"Sure. Why not? Besides, if they don't want to be found, then they don't want to be found," I reply, "race you to the gardens."

"Game on," says my VERY competitive twin.

We race, and Kaden beats me by about a second.

"Good game," I say, giving him a high five.

"Same to you," he replies, trying to catch his breath. All of a sudden, I see something out of the corner of my eye and shush him.

"What's going on?" he whispers.

"Eady and Kile are sitting at Mom and Dad's bench. Don't let them see you, I doubt Eady'd be very happy if she saw us," I whisper back.

I peek around the corner and see Eadlyn and Kile chatting about something.

"So much for 'I'm not actually going to fall in love with one of them'" Kaden mutters.

I turn around to see Kile KISSING Eadlyn, then feel a poke on my shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Osten asks.

"What are YOU doing?" I ask.

"They look like they're going to turn around. Hide!" Kaden whispers and I hide behind the wall. Osten, however, is still visible, so I yank him out of their view.

"Hey! I don't want to miss them being drenched in seaweed!" Osten protests.

"WHAT?!?" Kaden and I exclaim. The bucket drops seaweed. Right on Kile and Eadlyn.

"Osten, she's going to KILL you!"

Osten just laughs and runs off to his room. He's doomed.

"Where's Osten?" Eadlyn seethes.

Author's Note

Ha ha ha. Silly Osten, interrupting a Keadlyn moment.
