I have dug pretty Damn deep and hopefully I'm getting close to the underground cave. I'm sweating and breathing heavily. Bonnie was sitting on a log while I dug.

"Thanks for all the help Bonnie." I said sarcastically. I stopped digging to catch my breath. "You know there's a strong possibility you're digging our graves." she said with a hint of amusement. "What happen to hope? You know I was all we're stuck here forever and you were all keep hope cheer cheer." I said making my voice higher to impersonate her.

She rolled her eyes at me and I picked the shovel back up and when I hit the ground it fell. I let a shagged breath out as a smile spread across my face. This is it.

"Perfect timing I see." Kai said standing with a duffle bag. Bonnie stood up and glared at him. I used my vamp speed to be in front of him in the blink of an eye.

I grabbed his bag and he smirked at me as I went through it. I raised a brow at him, "Zima, grunge, Alex Rodriguez rookie cards on demand and a pager..?" I asked handing his bag back.

"Hey I'm super excited by the future and the Internet and all, but 1994's always been my home and I'd hate to get homesick. Besides 555-Hiya-Kai, there's no way I'm giving up those digits." he defended.

He smiled and looked past me to the hole I dug. He put the bag over his shoulder and rubbed his hands together. "Let's get down there." he said with clear happiness in his expression.

"No." Bonnie said from behind me. I turned to see her with her brave face on. She walked past me and stood in front of Kai. "We aren't going anywhere til you show me the spell." she said crossing her arms. She's stubborn I know she won't back down.

"Fine." he said and put his hands in his pocket and smiled at us not moving. I looked at him baffled. "Are we literally not going anywhere?" I asked annoyed and worried. "Fine. You won't show me then you do it." she said holding her arm out to him.

What is she doing? "You want my magic take it. Take all of it." she said. He smiled at me. "Uh Oh She's being brave." He said mocking her. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"No I'm serious. That was your big threat wasn't it. If I won't help you you'll take my magic and leave us here for dead. Do it." she said pushing him.

His smiled faltered for a split second as if he was concerned. Why is he hesitating? "Don't mind if I do." he finally said and grabbed her arms and she gasped and groaned in pain.

"Bonnie.." I said about to charge at Kai. "Don't..he won't kill me." she said..clearly struggling. "Doesn't look that way from here." I said concerned he won't stop. She grunted and her legs began to shake. He isn't stopping.

"Enough!" I shouted. His eyes flicked back to me. He sighed and reluctantly released her.

"Why won't you show me the spell?" she asked breathlessly. I watched him suspiciously. I heard his heart beat speed up. He's nervous. Why? She chuckled. "He doesn't know the spell.." she said.

He looked at me and I could see from his expression she was right. I shook my head. Another mind game. "Which means we don't need him." she added. Kai's eyes flicked to Bonnie as did mine.

"Motus!" she said and an axe flies up from the ground and impaled Kai. "Bonnie!?" I shouted as he fell to the ground dead. "Good work Bonnie.." I mumbled and ran my hand through my hair.

Bonnie has been flipping through a witchy book since she killed Kai. "What are you even looking for?" I asked. "A spell. I think the spell that put Kai here was a Bennett witch spell. Why else would my grams say I have the power to get us out? I just have to find it." she said flipping the page.

I sighed and stood up. I began pacing. "Sangina Mearma, Ascendarum Cavea." I heard her mumbled and then heard a click sound. I turned to see it has worked. Her spell has activated the ascendant. I smiled.

"That's why Kai wouldn't kill me..I was his only way out." she said looking at me smiling. "It's time to go home Lilly." she said smiling proudly. I nodded.

>>>>>>>

It was nearly time for the eclipse. Bonnie and I were standing the place waiting. "Bonnie..thank you." I mumbled. She looked at me confused. "For what?" she asked smiling at me. "Never losing hope..getting us here. Getting me here." I said thankfully.

She cut her hand on the ascendant making her wince and then she smiled. "We got us here. Its time.." she said looking up. She eclipse just started. "Sangina Mearma, Ascendarum Cavea." she mumbled and a light shunned down on us.

Home. We're really going home. I smiled at Bonnie and the next thing I knew a pain rippled through me. I cried out and fell. "Going some where?" Kai asked with a gun in his hand. He shot me.

"Lilly!" Bonnie screamed. Bonnie ran to me leaving the spot she has to be in to get home. "You honestly think I haven't tried to kill myself. I have multiple times in many different ways. I always come back." he said smugly. Bonnie knelt next to me and sat the ascendant down.

"Wooden bullets. Hurts right?" he asked and laughed a little. I glared at him. Bonnie tried to stop the bleeding. Kai's eyes flicked to the ascendant and I knew he was going to run for it. "No!" I yelled and grabbed the ascendant and tackled Kai.

He grunted as I pinned him against some large rock. He dropped the gun. "Lilly!" Bonnie screamed. She ran and stopped in the spot she had to be in. "Tell Elena I said hi.." I said and tossed the ascendant.

Her eyes widened as she caught it. Kai was struggling to get free but I kept him pinned. It was extremely hard with how strong he was. "Lilly! No!" she screamed and a flash of light appeared and blinded me for a moment.

When it was gone so was Bonnie. She's home. I got her home. The ascendant fell and broke on the floor. I let out a breath of relief and let Kai go. I stood there and looks down at my stomach. I have to get the bullet out. It hurts like a bitch.

"No!" Kai shouted. I turned to see his vein was popping out of his neck. I flinched back at the look on his face. He picked the gun up that he dropped and pointed it at me.

I cried out as three more wooden bullets broke through my skin. I fell to the ground. "Fuck! No! What have you done!" he shouted as he threw the gun across the cave and it shattered.

He glared at me and began walking to me with a murderous look in his eyes. "Stop! Stay away!" I screamed as fear and pain covered me. I've never been more scared in my life. "Look what you've done!" he yelled as he got closer.

"Stop.." I breathed out. I intended to scream it but I was so weak. The wooden bullets plus my loss of blood I won't die..but I think I'm about to pass out. I felt my body relax as my eyes rolled to the back of my head.
The last thought I had was..

I'm trapped with a psychopath..forever.
