chapter eighteen

Apparently Kai did the merge with his brother instead of his own twin. Kai won obviously or he'd be dead. He killed Luke who I briefly remember from collage with Elena. His sister Liv is the one who tried to kill him.

Apparently her and Tyler lock wood had a thing but she left town. Tyler isn't wolf hybrid anymore. He could still trigger the curse..but for now he's only a human. Alaric is in love with Joe..Kai's twin sister.

Kai winning the merge makes him a full witch and gave him emotions. That's why he helped get me out. He has feelings now. It doesn't matter. This changes nothing. I finished off my last glass. Alaric's phone rang.

"It's Damon." he mumbled. I smiled. It took him a while to warn his best friend. They must have a plan now. "Hey Damon." Alaric said. "Don't freak out..but Lilly turned her emotions off." Damon said.

I smirked and made eye contact with Alaric. He didn't move. "Damon..get to mystic grill." he said. Jeremy looked between us confused. "Is she there?" Damon asked. "Yes. Yes she is." he said hanging up.

"What was that about?" Jeremy asked. "Lilly..you can still come back. You haven't hurt anyone yet. If you do..you'll regret it forever." Alaric tried to talk to me. I chuckled and shook my head.

"I don't care Alaric." I said bitterly. "Lilly? Whats going on?" Jeremy asked still not getting it. "Jeremy get away from her." Alaric said warning the idiot. I broke eye contact knowing he can compel me if he wants.

In one swift motion I had Jeremy from behind in a choker. I could easily snap his neck. Alaric stood from his stool. Eyes were on us. There were three other people here. I could easily wipe them out. Alaric is the only challenge in this room.

"Lilly! Stop!" I heard Elena scream. I chuckled wickedly. "Or what? You'll kill me?" I asked knowing she wouldn't. I sighed getting bored. I turned and tossed Jeremy at the group of hero's.

Damon caught Jeremy and Elena hugged him and then they all turned to me. "Please Lilly you're home now. You don't have to hurt anymore." Elena said. I nodded. "I know. I'll never have to hurt again actually." I said proud of that fact.

I vamp sped past them and when I was far enough away I began walking. "Its gonna be awesome." I over heard some teenager say to his friend. I walked over to them. "Hello there." I said smiling sweetly.

Both boys checked me out glanced at each other and nodded. "Hi. I'm Dex." the dark haired one said shaking my hand. "I'm Dennis." the blonde one said smiling. I nodded. "I'm Lilly. I'm new here and was wondering if anything was going on tonight?" I asked needing some fun. "Yeah there's actually a party tonight." Dex said.

"You can totally tag along." Dennis added. I smiled and acted surprised by his offer. "Really? That would be great." I said agreeing. "Yeah we can drive you and everything." Dennis said smiling.

There was a bonfire and the moon. Those were our only source of light. There was music playing and it was nice out. I was in the shadows with Dex. We ditched Dennis to have fun.

He has me pushed up against a tree and was kissing my neck. I had my hands under his shirt scratching his back. I moaned as he bit down on my neck. "You like that?" he asked breathlessly. "Mhm.." I gasped as he groped my chest through my shirt.

I began kissing down his neck now. My eyes turned red as I bit into him with my fangs. He tensed but then melted into my hands. I was draining him and moaned as I tasted how good he was.

"Lilly?" I dropped the half dead boy to see Kai. I wiped my mouth. "You want to go next?" I asked vamp speeding and pushing him against a tree. He grunted as his back hit the tree.

I had my lips covering over his skin. For some reason..I hesitated before biting him. "I..I was looking for you.." he shuddered. He was scared. I smiled happy he was the scared one now.

"Why? You have a death wish?" I asked breathing on him as I pressed my body into his. "No.." he gulped. "I..I wanted to apologize for leaving you.." he said confirming he has a soul after all. "Too little too late.." I whispered in his ear. "Then..go ahead..kill me. Because honestly..when I got these feelings back..all I could ever think about was you." he said.

I stopped and noticed his heart beat..he was nervous. "You think I care?" I asked in a growl. "If you didn't..I'd be dead." he mumbled. He was right. I don't want to hurt him. I still like him. He could be the one to bring me back.

I have to get away from him. I was about to run away when I felt a needle go into my stomach. I jerked away and looked to see Kai injected me with something. "You're dead.." I groaned as a pain covered me.
