chapter thirty

My eyes fluttered open. I looked around to see I was in the Salvatore house. I remember Jeremy and Kai. They saved me. I smiled at the thought. I looked down to see I was in the same outfit.

"Sent you on a date and you happen to get kidnapped and tortured." Elena mumbled. I quickly got up from the bed to see all my scars are healed. "My luck.." I said chuckled. She hugged me tightly.

"Kai came over worried about you at three in the morning and I just sent him away. I'm sorry." she mumbled. "Its fine. You couldn't have known." I said. "He did." she mumbled letting me go.

"Yeah..thank God. Cade was so gonna burn my face off. I'm gonna shower.." I said smiling. She smiled back and nodded. "Okay. Make it quick though." she said and left. Why?

I sighed and walked to the mirror to see how awful I looked. It wasn't pretty. I better get that shower.

I've dried off and slipped on jeans and a blue shirt. I heard a faint knock and then turned to see Damon stepping in. "Hey." I said as I grabbed my bag with my phone and such in it. "You're leaving?" he asked. I nodded. "Well Kai has been calling every thirty minuets. Go tell him your alive to shut him up." he said smirking.

Kai has been checking in on me? "Will do." I said and began walking out.

I was outside Kai's door. I was about to knock when the door swung open and I was faced with Kai. "Hey." I said lamely. He smiled slightly. "Hey. You're awake.." He said moving for me to come in.

"Weren't you headed out?" I asked stepping in. "It can wait." He said. I nodded as he shut the door. "So Damon told me you were calling for me?" I said it as a question. "Yeah. You looked pretty bad. Better now?" he asked. I nodded.

"Thanks to you." I commented. "No big deal." He said scratching the back of his neck. He did the small cocky smile he used to do. It made me smile.
"So I guess going out with strangers wasn't the best idea.." I chuckled remembering he warned me.

"Wanna go for a walk with me?" he asked smiling at my comment. "Sure. I have no plans." I agreed. He nodded and we walked out together.

We've been walking for a while. We've just been silent. Just enjoying each other's company. It wasn't awkward or uncomfortable..it was peaceful to be honest.

We were walking down the street when out of no where Kai grabbed my shoulder. "Are you okay?" I asked holding him up. He seemed..sick? "Umm..I feel not so good.." he mumbled and his face began to change. He's turning. I looked around to see a few people looking.

"What are you doing? Stop it." I whisper shouted. "I..I cant.." He breathed. I leaned him on me. I began walking quickly trying to get us out of the street and away from people. "When was the last time you ate?" I asked turning in an ally.

"The..The day I turned.." he admitted. "You haven't eaten since?" I asked shocked. He let out a shaky chuckle. "I..I didn't want to be a monster..." He said.

I helped him stand by holding his shoulders. "Okay..okay..umm..you have to drink from me." I said firmly. His eyes widened and he shook his head. "Blood bag.." he whispered. "There's no time. Here." I said moving my shirt exposing my neck but nothing else.

"I'll be fine.." He mumbled as I looked to the side giving my neck to him. "No you'll hurt someone who can't heal." I said sure of it. I glanced to see he was staring at me neck. "Can vampires..drink from other vampires..?" He asked stalling.

Damon said they could..Elena has drunk from him..but they say it's personal. "Yes. It's okay Kai. Go ahead." I mumbled kind of scared.

I've never been bitten by a vampire. I'm not scared of him..But will it hurt? I know it can hurt or be pleasurable..does he know how to make it not hurt. I felt his soft lips kissing my neck. Kissing? I didn't stop him though.

My heart was beating out of my chest..and I knew he felt it too. He began sucking a certain area. I gasped and felt him bite into me. I bit my bottom lip holding in a moan.

I closed my eyes but felt him spin and pushed me against the wall taking all control. I had my mouth hanging open but held in my moans. He was drinking from me greedily.

He has his hands on my waist keeping me up right. I felt his fangs leave my skin. I felt him lick my skin around the bite. He's licking my blood. "Better?" I asked when I could speak. He was still holding my waist but he was staring into my eyes now.

"Yeah.." He breathed. I nodded. "Good." I mumbled and before my body could do what it so desperately wanted to I vamp sped my way out of there.

I need to think.
