just like any other friday night in new york city with best friend luke, you two would go out after school to bryant park and eye all of the delicious desserts and foods in their little stands before walking through the long row of kiosks. entering a small christmas shop a month before christmas was normal, considering you two were always in the christmas spirit and winter was one of luke's favorite things. as you walked into the small red shop, luke picked up two little music boxes and began twisted the knob on the side, making quiet music escape from it as you did the same. he ducked his head down to your height and leaned his head against your own, holding the music boxes close to your faces and and smiling widely. you turned to him slightly, only to have him do the same at the same time and for an awkward "lip brushing" to be shared. you jumped back immediately, your small amount of feelings for luke quickly kicking in and making your cheeks heat up. he seemed to feel the same way, for his face was quite red and he awkwardly stood there with wide eyes. after seconds of nothing, he decided that he had had enough, and he stepped towards you and finally pressed his lips to your own, dropping the music box on the counter next to you and cupping your cheeks gently
