Chapter 1: At the bar

"Happy Birthday Saf!!"

Everyone greeted me with joy.

Its is my 19th birthday today. I never thought na tatanda ako ng ganito kabilis. In this age masasabing you can do everything you want. Your not a kid anymore kakailangan pang magpaalam sa guardians. And in this age mistakes were often done.

"Cool party Saf!" My classmates shouted uder the loud music.

This night is going to be wild. Actually ang gusto ko lang naman is a simple dinnerwith my parents and younger sister but my parents are not here.

One night,months ago they asked me what i want for my birthday and they cant grant what i want. Hindi daw sila makakauwi because theyre both busy. My Mom is an Editor in a famous publishing company and my dad as an Architect.

For almost ten years lumaki kqmi ng kapatid kong wala sila. They only visit us on christmas pero 3 lang sila tatagal. Sometimes i even think that they dont love us but i never hated them. Si Tita Carmen ang naging guardian namin ni Xantine, she is my dad's sister.

"Ate youre party is really amazing, how did you convince our parents about this?" se asked.

Xantine Airam Herrer. She is two years younger than me. We are not just sisters but also bestfriends. We always share everything from our likes and secrets. Our parents always tell us to be on each other side and love each other.

"You know me Xanty, i have my ways." I smirked and held my drink.

This world isnt new to me. Maybey parents see me as a good girl but please, dont be decieved by my looks. I can be naughty if you want to.

Im now in my 3rd year in college as an Foreign Service student in St. Baltimore University. Bata pa lang ako gusto ko ng libutin ang buong mundo and also to serve people that's why i chose this kind of course. No pressure for me actually because i love what im doing and im very happy about it.

"Ate!" Tawag sakin ng kapatid ko.

Agad naman akong napalingon sakanya. Naging busy kasi ako sa pakikipag usapsa mga guest ko kaya hindi ko na alam ang mga nangyayaro. I just saw my sister walking towards me.

"What is it sis?" I asked.

"You wouldnt believe who's entering the bar." she said.

And in one moment everyone went in silent at a group of people entered.the building. Only the loud and wild music is making the noise but all the people were staring at the door were greek gods are standing.

I softly gasped when i realized who are they. Their intent looks make your heart pound fast especially the very familiar guy who's looking deeply in my direction that makes my knees jelly.

They slowly walk towards me not minding the people staring at them. I can see some girls trying to catch their attention but they just dont mind. Correction, he dont mind.

"Hi Saf! Happy birthday!" Kuya Rald greeted me.

He is the assistant coach of our Soccer team, the St. Baltimore Blazing Thunder. We met few years ago nung pinakilala siya ni Lolo sakin. His father is my Grandfather's trainee in tennis. He is also th one who encourage me to enroll in St. Baltimore but i never dare to meet his players.

Freshmen pa lang ako marami ng usapan that theyre not only playing in the field with the ball but also they play around with girl's hearts. Wala sigurong araw sa ilang taon na isa sa kanila ang magpapaiyak ng babae. They were that kind of famous not only in the University but also outside of it.
