The Second Date

Stephanie's POV:I said goodnight and went inside. Then i hopped in the shower then went to bed. The next morning i got a text from Paul that said "Good Morning beautiful! Have a good day!" I texted back "Good Morning! Hope you have a good day too!(Heart Eye Emoji,Kiss Emoji,Heart Emoji)"

Paul's POV: Steph texted back "Good Morning! Hope you have a good day too!(Heart Eye Emoji,Kiss Emoji,Heart Emoji)" I think she likes me. So i texted "Do you want to go to lunch with me?" I was really nervous sending that text. What if it's too soon and she says no.

Stephanie's POV: Cool another text from Paul "Do you want to go to lunch with me?" I texted back "Yes. I would love that. 12:00?" A minute later i got a text from Paul "Perfect" Then i got up and got ready and drove to work on the way there i stopped and got a coffee from Starbucks. Then headed to work. When i got there i went and talked to my dad and asked if i had a segment tonight. He said "No but you do have one Thursday" Then mom walks in and says "Steph! How did your date go?" I said "Great!" Then dad said "What date?" I said "The one with Paul." Then dad said "Oh. I didn't think you would go out an hour after you asked." Then i said " Dad i really like him and he likes me."Mom said "How do you know he likes you?" I said "Because he asked me to lunch and i said yes." Dad said "Didn't you see him last night?" I said "Yes. But i really like him. And i want this relationship to go somewhere." Dad and mom Both said"We are very happy for you and we hope it goes further." I said "thanks Mom And Dad as i hugged them and left. It was now 9:00.I texted Paul and said"Where do you want to go for lunch?" He texted back a minute later and said "It's a surprise! I'll pick you up at 12:00." I got butterflies in my stomach. Where was he taking me? I think it would be someplace nice.
Paul's POV: I know exactly where we should go. But I needed help setting up so I called Shawn and he went out to get the things I needed. I had been to this place that is outside and I bought the whole section out so we could be alone. By now it was 11:00 I hurried home, showered then got flowers. Red roses. And headed over to her place.
Stephanie's POV: I got home at 11:00 and couldn't figure out what to wear so I face timed my mom and showed her all of them and she said the blue one. I put that one on and finished getting ready. Then he knocked on the door. I opened the door and he handed me beautiful red roses. I thanked him. The. I said "Where are we going?" He smiled and said "I'm not telling you. You will know when we get there." I said "What? Why won't you tell me?" Then he said "Your so cute when your angry." Then I said "OK. Let's go." Paul said "It's in walking distance. So this way." We started walking and when we got close. Paul said"put this on." As he handed me a black blindfold. I put it on and I kept walking. Then I said "Don't let me bump into anything or fall." Paul said "I would never." As he smiled and grabbed my arm leading me to our lunch date. We had just turned a corner,i could feel it. We walked for a little while longer. Then he took the blind fold off and i saw the most beautiful place.There was one table with candles and flowers. There were people playing instruments. The song was beautiful. I couldn't help but smile. The Paul said "You like it?" Nervously. Then i said are you kidding. I love it." Then Paul said"Good!" Then he pulled the chair out and i sat down. Then Paul sat down and we started talking. I don't even remember what we were talking about i was in love with the whole thing him,the flowers,the candles, and the fact that he did it all for me makes me want to be with him forever. I have only known him a little while but i can just feel it. My mom likes him and I think my dad does too.He just doesn't like the idea of me dating anyone especially a wrestler. I had to stop thinking about everything and just enjoy this lunch with Paul. There is nothing for me to worry about.

Paul's POV: I wonder what she's thinking about. The waiter came and asked if we were ready to order and i looked at Stephanie and we both said "yes." Steph ordered then i did. She got something that was almost the same as last night. Then i said "Do you always eat salads?" Steph said "I usually do." Then i said "Why?" Steph said "The same reason you work out and eat what you eat." Then i said"I work out to become happier with my self and it makes me better at my job. You don't need to always eat salads. You are beautiful the way you are. I eat what i eat because that's part of my job." Then Steph said "Your right , But i still want the salad. I will get something different. He already put the order in." I smiled. Then I said "Sounds good." There was a short pause. Then i said" Steph I really like you but i feel like i need to know you better. I know you told me a lot last night. But i want to know other things." Then Steph said "That's great i didn't think you would like me. I want to know everything about you. And i mean everything. I can see this going somewhere but we both have to want as much as the other. And i know that i want this more than anything in the whole world!" The I said "So do i. I have always wanted this. I didn't know it would be you. I never met you but your dad and your mom always talked about you. And i knew that you would be all that they said you were. People are wrong about you,Your gorgeous,brilliant,adorable,and,many more.You are all what your dad said you were and even more."

Stephanie's POV: I got serious butterflies when he said that. I know that i'm still young but no one has ever said that feel that not even in all the love movies i have watched. It was in this moment that i knew he was the one. It's only our second date but i can feel it. We started talking talking about ourselves and we got to know each other. We have somethings in common. Not everything and that's good. If you are the exact same person it's almost like your related. The waiter came back with our food and he had red wine. Then i said "Red is my favorite." Paul smiled and said" I know i remembered from last night." I said "Really?" Paul said "I would never forget that." I smiled. We ate and we talked some more.When we were done we started walking and i said " Do you have a segment tonight?" Paul said "Yes.Do you?" I said "No,I wish i have one Thursday." Paul said " I have one Thursday too. Did they tell you when you have to go out there." I said "No, I will probably know when i go back to watch your segment." Paul said "Your coming to watch my segment. Then i better not screw up." I said "You will do great!" Paul smiled and said "Thank you,It means a lot that you think that. I'm not very good a talking." I said "You sure sounded good to me!" As i smiled and looked at him and he was looking at me the whole time. We got to my place and i kissed him on the cheek and said "I'll see you tonight" He smiled and said "Yes!" And i went inside and checked my phone i had messages from my dad that said" Change in plans you have a segment tonight. Come here as soon as you can." I texted back "On my way." I grabbed my purse and my bag and left. I got in my car and went to Starbucks and got another coffee i figured it would be a long day. I finally got to the arena. AI went in and found my dad and said" Why the sudden change in plans?" Dad said "The writers thought it would be better tonight than Thursday." I said "OK. What do i have to say and when?"Dad said "You come out with Paul. Somehow the writers figured out you two were seeing each other and thought it would be a good idea for you to go from daddy's little girl to this trouble making bad ass." I said "That's so awesome i have never had to play the bad guy . This will be so much fun. When do we have to go out?" Dad said "After i go out. You two come out and make everything hell. It turns into the attitude era."
