"Nah-nah noh-boo boo, you cant catch me" I taunted my older brother, Elladan. He and my other brother, Elrohir, ran after me.

"Arwen, help!" I shrieked. My seven-year old twin sister looked up from her book, a smirk on her face.

"Not a chance, El" she called.

I sent her a seething glare as Elladan gently tackled me to the ground, knowing full well that if he hurt me, he would endure the wrath of our mother, Celebrian.

I looked more like my mother, than I did my father. I loved my mother. She was so carefree, loved to laugh and sing. Her hair was a brown mass of curls and her eyes held such warmth that it suprised me.

My brothers then proceded to tickle me.

"Stop" I begged them, tears trickling down my face from laughing. Thats when everything went wrong. My brother disappeared and so did Rivendell. The daylight turned to night and a sound that made me cringe shrieked through the air.

I stumbled backwards, 7-year old me now gone and 20-year old me in her place. My brown hair-wavy which was a mixture of my fathers straightness and my mothers curls-lay flat against my back. My eyes-a mix of blue and green- darted around where I was.

At that moment, four men ran up the stairs. They passed right through me and that is when I realized this was just a dream, or a vision. I had my father's sight into the future.

"Mr.Frodo, get behind me" one man ordered. I realized they were hobbits. But what were they doing away from the Shire?

"The Ringwraiths" another hobbit called. They all drew their weapons.

"Mi van me?"(where am I?) I whispered. It was very rare that I spoke Elvish. I normally spoke the language of men, but I was confused. Where were we?

Three black-cloaked figures floated towards the hobbits, who by now had gathered in a tight circle, the black-haired hobbit at the back.

"Get back, I say" another hobbit ordered, a fatter one this time. He brandished a sword at the Ringwraith who flung him aside as if it was nothing. I gasped.

The other two hobbits were quickly thrown to the side also. The head ringwraith apporached the black-haired hobbit. He slid backwards until he hit a wall. Then he proceeded to slip on a ring. He vanished to my great astonishment.

"What just happened?" I whispered. The head ringwraith approached him, drawing his dagger.

He shoved it forward and the hobbits scream split through the air. It hurt my eardrums and I begged for it to stop.

Water splashed onto me. I let out a loud shriek, opening my eyes. Above me stood my sister, Arwen, a bucket in her hands.

"You were sleeping" she stated. I glared at her.

"No, really?" I said, sarcasm dripping in my voice. I stood up, glaring at her when I realized my favorite history book was ruined.

I stormed off, but not after giving her a sopping wet hug.

I found my father in the meeting room. It was a large dome structure, light and open. A small pedestal sat in the middle of the area. Father stood by the pedestal, gazing thoughtfully at the chairs.

"Ada" I spoke. He looked to me. (Dad)

"Né?" (Yes?)

I went to mortal talk.

"I saw...."

"Hobbits, yelya, I saw also" he answered.

"Then you must let me go..."

"No!" he said. His blue eyes locked with my own blue-green. The green came from my mother. I missed my mother so much.

"Why?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"Because, Elemmire, if you go, you will die, I've seen it, let Arwen go"

"But..."

"No, Elemmire, go tell her" he ordered. I rushed from the room to tell my sister. She was always fathers favorite but in the same sense, I was always mothers favorite. So, it balanced out evenly, until the incident....but I dont talk about that often.

I found my sister in her room, reading a book. I didnt bother to knock, rushing into her room.

"Arwen!" I cried. She jumped, looking up.

"El, you scared the living daylights out of me!" she chastisted me.

"You need to rescue hobbits!" I panted. She gave me a confused look, standing up and placing her hands on her hips.

"What hobbits? Why are the hobbits outside the Shire?" she questioned.

"One of them is named...Frodo, they hold something, a ringwraith stabbed....."

That was all she had to hear. She rushed from the room, I rushing after her. We rushed to the stables, Arwen saddling up her horse, Asfaloth. I gave her a look of concern.

"Be safe, sister" I said.

"And you too, El, I promise to try to bring young Frodo back" she answered. She nudged her horse forward, leaving me in the dust.

Tears streaked down my face. Those Ringwraiths were still out there, had I just condemened my sister to death?

I knew of only one person who could help me. She lived in the woods, and her name was Eglaneth. She was a ghost, and not to many knew about her. I believe only my father, sister, Aragorn-my sisters courter-and Gandalf the Greyhame knew about her.

I tripped a few times as I walked through the forest. My dress-a pure white one-got coated in dirt.

"Eglaneth!" I called out. A green light was made known from across the way. I ran towards it, a smile on my face.

She grinned when she saw me. Her long black hair was down her back and her green eyes were full of joy. She had white skin, as white as my dress.

"Hi, Elemmire, hows Arwen?" she asked. Tears streamed down my face at the mention of my sister. What if I condemned her?

"She...went after hobbits" I choked out. She frowned.

"And?" she urged.

"One of the hobbits has the ring" I finished. No emotion was made known on her face. She simply walked past me-hovering about an inch off the ground-and towards Rivendell.

"Where are you going?" I asked her, catching up.

"Im going with Arwen, how far ahead is she?" she asked.

"A few miles by now, maybe" I said. She nodded.

"Alright"

And with that, she walked into Rivendell. I collapsed onto the forest floor, crying. Because now I had lost my friend.
