I woke up in the morning to realize this was the day the council would be held. I put on a white shirt, a pair of trousers, and black cloak before heading to the dining hall to get something to eat.

As I am eating, I notice Aragorn with a blonde elf who could only be royalty. He is very muscular, and always has a calm expression on his face. And his eyes were captivating. They were crystal blue, absolutely beautiful. I could get lost in them. I was breathless.

It didn't take me long to realize I was in love with an elf I didn't even know.

While part of me wanted to diffuse my feelings, to tell myself that its hopeless..... but he was just so enticing!

I didn't realize that I was staring at him until he looked up and noticed me. I blushed and looked at my plate. When I thought the coast was clear, I looked up again, but he was looking my way. Again, I felt my face go pink. This time he looked away, but I still could not help myself. Aragorn left when he was done eating, and Legolas looked up at me again. We held each others glance for a few seconds before he finished his food and walked up to me. I got up too, I had finished my food a while ago.

"Hello, m'lady. I am Legolas, of the Mirkwood realm." He said, kissing my hand. Instead of pink, I swear, I went beet red. My body felt warm all over and my stomach was fluttering, and I felt as if I was flying. 'Eleberth!' I thought to myself.

"I am Amaya. I do not belong to any realm, I am a ranger." I heard myself reply. Yet it didn't feel like I was talking.

"Are you here for the council?" Legolas inquired.

"Yes. Is that why you are here, prince of Mirkwood?"

"Aye. What do you think it is about?"

"The ring is here, in Rivendell. It must be destroyed."

I heard Legolas gasp at this. But then he joked

"I thought it would be important, with dwarves traveling to Rivendell. Come. We mustn't be late to the council."

"Yes, that would make the dwarves angry. And believe me, you dont want that, I've had enough of angry dwarves for eternity."

"Under what circumstances?" Legolas asks. He is very curious, isn't he?

"I had dealings with Erebor. I almost had to Kill Thorin Oakenshield, but in my defense, he attacked first." I reply.

"Sounds like it didn't end well for either of you." He muses

"No, I ended up with a scar on my arm and he ended up dead."

"WHAT?!" Legolas exclaims in horror. I realize what impression I gave him.

"By the hands of orcs, not me. I m no murderer." I explain

"Oh... you frightened me." He sighed in relief.

"My pardons prince. Forgive me." I said apologetically.

"There is nothing to forgive." He said, as we walk inti the room where the council is to be held.

As the council starts, Legolas is still curious, but now about the people.

"Who is the halfling by the daughter of Lord Elrond?" He asked, looking at Frodo.

"That is Frodo, the ringbearer." I whisper.

"Such a shame that he is burdened in such a manner." He whispers sadly. I agree. It can't be easy to bear such a weight without falling into darkness.

"And who is the woman on Elemmire's other side? She looks like an elf, yet there is a green glow around her, and looks....... otherworldly." He said with amazement.
