I groaned and stifled out a yawn. My head moved up and down as I realized I was still on Legolas' chest. I matched my breathing with his and rested my eyes for a short while. I soon heard him shift and turn more towards me.
"Good morning." He said.
"Hi." I said quietly. He brushed back a strand of my hair and I sighed in contentment. A huge grin came to my face.
Eglaneth came by and told us we had to go. I pouted slightly. Legolas stood up and held his hand for me. He wrapped hands around me waist and pulled me in for a kiss. I pulled back.
"We have to go." I said. He let go.
"I know."
He lead me over to the boats where I got in with Eglaneth, Elemmire, and Lady Galadrial.
Galadrials husband, Celeborn, hands us even cloaks with little leaf brooches.
"Never before have we clad strangers in the garb of our own people. May these cloaks shield you from unfriendly eyes." He said to us.
We got off at the shore. Legolas offered me his hand as I almost tripped over the boats. For a elf, I'm clumsy. He snickered at me a I blushed. Elemmire gave us a weird look. She didn't know about us yet.
Galadrial comes down the line, bearing gifts for all of us.
"For you Legolas, is the bow of Galdrahim worthy of the skill of my kin." She handed a finely crafted now to Legolas. He gasped and took it.
"Thank you my lady." She then approached me.
"And you Amaya, daughter of Háná and Rúmil, I give the necklace of my mother, Eärwen, may it give you her strength and wisdom." It was the most beautiful peice of jems I have ever seen. It was gold and tiny black crystals in the center. She moved on so quick, I didn't even get to say thank you. Legolas walked over to me.
"May I?" He held his hand out and I placed it in there. I turned my back and pulled back my hair as he came close to my body. I felt his hot breath on my neck and heard the sound of the clasp. He spun me around and hugged and let go.
"Elemmire, daughter of Elrond and Celebrain, I give you this. I call it the mirror of Lorien, speak into it and it will give you the answer." She finished. Elemmire grinned and put it in her pocket.
We jumped back into the boats and sailed away from Lothlórien. I sat with Elemmire and Eglaneth. Come to think of it, I didn't know much about my new friends.
"Why did you chose Rivendell?" I asked Egola.
"I couldn't stant to be in Gondor anymore. So I went to the home of my mother."
"But why couldn't you stand to be in Gondor anymore?"
"Someone who I loved died and after he did I couldn't stand it anymore." She answered with a pained expression.
"Who did you love?" I asked again.
"Isildur." Elemmire answered for her.
"Are you related to Aragorn?" I asked in confusion.
"No." She answered.
"But something must've happened right?"
"I died before anything could happen."
"Oh I'm sorry I brought up memories. But tell me, if you were with child what would you name them?" I asked.
"It's alright and for a girl, Amelia, and a boy, Valandil." She answered.
I nodded with a sly grin plastered on my face.
We docked the boats at a little shore for the night. I watched as Elemmire failed miserably at trying to get Frodo to eat. I yawned and laid back on my pack, closing my eyes. I felt weight on my side and instantly knew it was Legolas. I fell asleep soon after that.
I awoke and got in the boats quickly.
"Frodo! Look the Agorath! Long have I desired to look upon the kings old, my kin." Aragorn shouted as we gazed at the ginormous kings.
We stop at a beach and dock the boats.
"Hide the boats and continue on foot. We approach Mordor from the north." Aragorn stated.
Him and Gimli started arguing about which way to go. It was quite funny in all honesty.
"We should leave now." I whisper to Legolas as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"No. Orcs control the eastern shore. We must wait til darkness to cover." Aragorn said appear entry hearing me.
"It is not the eastern shore that worries me. A shadow and a threat have been growing in my mind. Something draws near, I can feel it." I replied. Legolas looked worriedly into the forrest.
"Recover my strength. Pay no heed to that young hobbit." Gimli said to Merry. Pippin came over and looked aroud.
"Where's Frodo?" He asked. Elemmire looked at Boromirs shield before running off into the forrest.
