I continue to sit at Frodos bedside. His other hobbit friends had come days ago and news of a meeting or a council was heard around Rivendell. Arwen wasnt invited but mysteriously father invited me. He must've had a vision.

I am falling fast for this hobbit. Its foolish. What if he had a courtship in place in the Shire? Oh, how that would make me sad.

A loud knock on the door interrrupted my thinking. I looked to see Gandalf.

"The council is arriving, if you want to greet them"

I did but I didnt want to leave Frodo.

"I think I'll wait until he awakens...." I said.

"Your choice, Elemmire" he took a seat in the rocking chair while I continued to sit on the bed.

"Does he have a courtship?" I blurted out, before clamping my hands over my mouth.

Gandalf laughed.

"No, young Elemmire, he does not" I breathed a huge sigh of relief. I then began to sing softly.

The silver moon is shining down

Upon the gentle sleeping town

I look around, I cannot stay.

My duty is calling me away.

The stars of Elbereth glimmer in the night

I look back at you, hoping for one last sight

You turn aside and avert your eyes

I guess that is no surprise

But my dearest I must leave

Destiny calls, to it I must cleave

The Ring threatens me and you

Believe me, my love is still true

Perhaps if I survive this

And the world is not amiss

We can be together once more

As the tales of elder yore

Do not forget my life, my love

My Frodo sweetest, gentle dove

I will come back, someday, somehow

If to the shadow the world does not bow"

I closed my eyes, and tears fell from them. I had made that song up, while I watched Frodo sleep. As I opened them, I noticed that Frodo was stirring. A grin made its way onto my face as he opened his eyes.

"Good morning, sleepy head" I said. He let out a startled gasp and I chuckled.

"There is no need to fear Elemmire" Gandalf said, from his place at the rocking chair.

"Well, thanks for ruining my introduction, I am Elemmire, daughter of Lord Elrond and you may be?"

"Frodo Baggins, son of Drogo Baggins" Frodo said, sticking out his hand. I took it.

"Nice to meet you Frodo, and good to see you awake, their is a council meeting and your the guest of honor" I said cheerfully. His voice was....well, hot.

"I must be going, I got to meet some people" I said, skipping away. Once I was out of the room, I let out a girlish squeal, getting attention from some elves.

"Oh, shush" I snapped. I rushed to my room, grabbing my bow and arrows. All these days of sitting at Frodos bedside, I could've been perfecting my bow and arrow skill.
