We quickly rushed out of the mines. Sorrow filling all of our hearts.

Gandalf died.

Everyone except Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas, were either on the ground or crying.

Legolas comforted me by putting his arm around me and pulling me close to him. I once again felt that spark. I pushed that feeling down and continued to cry into his warm, strong chest.

"Legolas, get them up!" Aragorn called. He gave me a confused look and let go.

"Give them a moment for pity sake!" Boromir yelled back.

"By night fall these hills will be swarming with orcs." Aragorn replied. He was right. "We need to get to Lothlórien!"

I looked over and Elemmire lay on the grass with a pained yet lifeless exspression. Eglaneth bandaged her ribs. She looked so helpless. I felt quite bad for her.

One by one Aragorn helped the hobbits up. He even had to carry Elemmire.

Legolas handed me his hand and as soon as I took it, I felt the sparks again. I couldn't put my finger on what it was. Something deep and amazing but I didn't know.

The walk was mainly silent. The only sound coming from the crunching of the leaves under our feet.

A slight mumbling was heard. Aragorn layed Elemmire on the ground.

"She's awake." Someone muttered. She opened her eyes! Frodo ran to her side and crushed her with a bone breaking kiss.

"My ribs." She croaked.

"Are broken we have to get you to Lothlórien." Eglaneth finished her sentence.

We then were surrounded by dense trees and beauty. Elemmire cried out in pain. I looked at her with sympathy. Without even blinking, I had an arrow pointed at me. Men were surrounding the whole fellowship.

"The lady of the woods wishes to speak to you." One of the men said motioning towards Elemmire.

We had to climb a circling staircase that lead to a type of room.

A bright white light engulfed me as two figured appeared. One, a women with long blond hair in a intricate dress, and the other, a man holding her hand.

"Twelve that sent out, but eleven are here, tell me where is Gandalf? I much rather speak with him." The man said. I shuddered at Gandalf falling into the dark abbeys.

"He had fallen into shadow. The quest stands on a knifepoint, stray but a little and it will fail."

"Yet hope still remains as long as the fellowship stays true." She continued. Her eyes gazed over to Elemmire. She nodded in her direction then turned back to us.

"You must be tired from your journey. Come and rest." She offered.

Legolas took my hand and I blushed. He had something about him that made me go wild inside. He was such a gentle, kind, spirit who had passion beyound belief.

We were lead to a spacious part of the forest with food and blankets laid out for us.

At first I sat alone, pondering my own thoughts. I think Eglaneth was talking to Elemmire about Frodo. I was very happy for her. We all knew they were in love except for themselves.

I heard footsteps and sat up from my pack. Legolas made himself known and sat next to me.

"I hope I'm not disturbing." He said.

"Not at all, I was just thinking." I replied. He nodded in response.

"Isn't it funny how Frodo and Elemmire are in love but don't know it?" I spoke my thoughts. I looked away as he started to speak.

"Yes it is. Love is a confusing thing. It can be hidden yet it can be open freely. Love is an amazing..... Thing." He finished as i turned my head back towards him. We gazed into each others eyes. They were so beautiful. I wanted to speak but I was so breathless. Before I could even say a word he slammed his lips onto mine. It was intense and I felt that spark again. But at the moment I finally figured what that spark meant all those times.

I was in love with Legolas.

He cupped my face with his hand and deepened the kiss. He ran his hands through my thick blonde curls. I pulled back and starred wide-eyed at him.

"Legolas. I-I love you." I said as I gasped for breath.

"Love has been blind to us, Amaya, but I do realize that I love you." He pulled me back in and kissed me intensely. I laid back on my pack as he laid down and still kissed me.

I heard someone clear there throat and I sat up. Eglaneth was standing there with a smirk on her face. I blushed a deep red.

"Uh hi." I said awkwardly. I grinned and she just shook her head and walked away. I turned back to Legolas who looked awkward but shrugged it off.

I yawned which made Legolas chuckle.

"Tired?"

"Mmm very." I answered. I snuggled deep into his chest and instantly felt that spark.

"Goodnight Legolas. Love you." I said.

"Love you too Amaya. Sweet dreams my love."

I fell into a deep sleep with a huge grin on my face.
