Elemmire ran after Frodo along with Aragorn. Sam went in after the both of them. I was about to run but Eglaneth stopped me.
"No. We need to stick together. Something is tracking us. I can feel them drawing closer." She states.
I obeyed and stayed. I could faintly see something in the distance that caught my eye. I think Legolas saw the same thing.
"Uruk Hai." We say at the same time.
Legolas told me, Eglaneth, Merry, and Pippin to stay behind a log.
We waited for a few minutes and thuds and grunts became more clear.
I couldn't stand it anymore. I didn't care what Legoals said. I needed to see if everyone was okay.
I felt bad for leaving the three but I couldn't risk the others getting hurt.
I spot Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli taking on orcs. I came in a started to swing my sword. I sliced it's arm then slit it's neck. I jumped onto a platform and balanced myself. I took my bow and shot two arrows at once to kill an Orc running at Gimli. He gave a nod before running down the hill. We heard a horn blowing, the horn of Gondor.
We managed to kill enough orcs to race down the hill to see an image I would not want to see.
Boromir lying against a tree with three arrows in his chest.
"I would have followed you, my brother, my captain, my king." Boromir breathed his breath.
"Be at peace son of Gondor." Aragorn kissed his forehead.
Legolas and I had sad yet confused faces. Elves never die, we are immortal therefore we aren't filmiliar with death. Yet we still knew, Boromir would no longer be with us.
I let a few silent tears fall.
"They will look for his coming on the white tower, but he will not return." Eglaneth said wisely.
We put Boromir in a boat with his sword and shield. He went off the waterfall while Aragorn started singing.
I didn't pay much attention to the singing intil Legolas started. He had such an amazing voice. I shouldn't be surprised. All elves have great voices. Except for me. I listened closey at his silky, smooth yet, husky and protective voice.
We ran back to the beach where we once were. Legolas and I immedialty grabbed a boat and hoisted it into the water.
"Hurry Elemmire and Frodo and Sam have reached the eastern shore." I urged. Aragorn doesn't even flinch.
"You mean not to follow them?" Legolas asked.
"Frodo's fate is no longer in our hands. But we cannot leave Merry and Pippin in the hands of orcs." Aragorn replied.
"Then this is where I leave you." Eglaneth says unexpectedly. We looked at her with confusion evident in our eyes.
"I'm going to help Frodo. Good luck." She smiled. I nodded feeling sad. I knew this would be the last time I saw my friend if they succeed and destroyed the ring.
"Goodbye."
She whispered sadly before drifting over the water to help her friends.
I feel sad intil I look over to Legolas who gave me a sympathetic grin. I felt much better as Legolas embraced then gave me an intense and passionate long kiss. I break it and have him a toothy grin before running in the direction Aragorn and Gimli went.
The Fellowship has broken.
