I sat patiently at the entrance of Rivendell. In my hands was a history book. I was currently reading it and waiting for my sister to come. A day had passed.

My foot tapped impatiently against the ground. I brushed back a strand of wavy hair.

"Where is she?" I hissed impatiently. The sound of a horse galloping was made known and I was instantly on my feet. I brushed my hair back, running after my sister who had sprinted in with the black-haired hobbit in her arms.

"Arwen!"

"Not now, El" she called. I noticed Eglaneth wasn't with her. I immediatly stopped in my tracks, Arwen continuing to run with the black-haired hobbit.

I looked behind me for Eglaneth. I worried for her. Even though she couldnt die again, she could sucumb to the ring.

Eglaneth was my only friend, the only one that understood what I had gone through with losing a mother. Both of our mothers had sailed to the Grey Havens, at different times of course. Mine had sailed five years ago, to this day I believe.

And it was all because of orcs, I held a personal grudge against them for it. I remembered the day my mother had sailed.

Her eyes were blank. She found no joy in Middle Earth anymore. The orcs had taken her happiness away when she was cruelly tortured by them.

"Mom, you cant leave!" I protested against her. She gave me a very rare smile, kissing my forhead.

"I must, yelya" she answered. (daughter)

"But..."

"Lá" she replied. She pulled away, giving my father a hug before hugging my sister and brothers.

"Namárië" she called. (Farewell)

"Mára mesta, Celebrain" (good journey) father called. She mounted the boat, giving a wave. The boat left, leaving us alone. I began to cry.

I hurried after Arwen who by now was in a guest room. Father stood by her muttering words under his breath. I quickly translate them.

"Let the power of the elves, and the power of the ruler of Middle Earth help heal this young hobbit. Let him not die"

I trail my hand down the hobbits face.

"Do you know his name?" I asked my sister.

"Dont you?" she countered.

I struggle to remember.

"His name is Frodo" I said, the name dawning on me. I had totally forgotten it.

"Where is Eglaneth?" I continued. I wondered about my friend.

"She is fighting...fighting the Witch King of Agamar. She distracted them to stop them from coming after us"

"And...." I asked, raising an eyebrow. I look down at Frodo and Arwen does also. He had such an innocent face, so handsome. I never believed at love at first sight but...this is close. I havent even spoken with him and I am attracted to him.

I looked to the doorway, seeing Eglaneth standing there, well hovering technically. She spoke in a voice that resonated slightly.

"Will he be okay?" she asks. Father looks to her, nodding.

"Yes, but he will need to sleep for a little while" he says.

I was relieved that my friend was alright. She sighed, although she didnt need to, turning to give me a hug.
