I find Frodo randomly strolling the forest. He looks towards me when I approach him.
"Galadriel told me something, something that scared me, El" he says. I frown.
"And what was it?"
"She told me that Boromir will turn on us, and that he will try to take the ring. She told me to only trust you and Eglaneth." I frown.
"That makes no sense, Frodo" I say. Aragorn would never betray us. He was my sisters courter.
"I know but...." he answers. His blue eyes are full of fear. I slowly approach him, taking his outstreched hand. He pulls me closer to him, kissing me.
A voice interrupts us.
"You shouldn't be by yourselves you two"
It belongs to Boromir. He grins when he catches Frodos eye.
""I know why you seek solitude. You suffer. I see it day by day. You sure you do not suffer needlessly? There are other ways, Frodo, other paths that we might take."
Frodo shook his head.
""I know what you would say. And it would seem like wisdom but for the warning in my heart." he says. I slowly load my bow.
"Warning? Against what? We're all afraid, Frodo. But to let that fear drive us to destroy what hope we have... don't you see, that is madness?" Boromir asks.
"There is no other way!" Frodo shrieks
"I ask only for the strength to defend my people!" Boromir yells. He flung down his wood pile.
"If you would but lend me the Ring..." he continued.
"No" Frodo says. He took a step backwards, looking towards Boromir with caution and fear.
"Why do you recoil? I am no thief." Boromir says, curiosity overwhelming him.
"You are not yourself!" Frodo answers.
"What chance do you think you have? They will find you! They will take the Ring and you will beg for death before the end!" Boromir yells back, "You Fool! It is not yours, save by unhappy chance. It could have been mine! It should be mine! Give it to me!" Frodo began to run and Boromir ran past him.
I ran behind both of them, ready to launch an arrow at Boromir. He tackles Frodo to the ground and they wrestle for control of the ring.
"Give me the ring!" Boromir yells.
"No!" Frodo slipped on the ring and disappeared. I chase after his heavy footsteps.
"Go away, Elemmire!" he yells.
"I'm going with you, Frodo" I say. Boromirs voice rings through the air.
"Frodo, come back!"
I follow Frodo up a cobble structure, and I hear him trip and fall. He slips the ring off and I jump down so I am standing over him.
"Frodo. Elemmire?"
"It has taken Boromir" Frodo says dreadfully, breathing heavily. I help him up, loading an arrow and pointing it towards Aragorn. You can never be to sure.
"Where is the ring?" Aragorn asks, stepping towards us.
"Stay away!" Frodo yells, running a few feet before stopping. Aragorn runs after him and I very nearly launch an arrow.
"Frodo!" Aragorn says.
Frodo ran a little bit before again stopping.
"I swore to protect you" Aragorn says.
