I feel myself slipping back into consciousness half expecting to see the cave again. My ribs hurt alot, but I feel bandages around them. That must have been Eglaneth.
"She's awake" I hear someone say as they set me down. I then realized it was Aragorn, and he was carrying me. Aragorn looks devastated about something, as if someone died. Come to think of it, everyone does.
Frodo and Eglaneth rushed over to me, and Frodo crushes me in a passionate kiss. But at the same time, it was gentle. He gently jostled me and I cry out in pain as agony floods through my body. Frodo instantly pulls away and gives me a look of concern.
"My ribs" I choke out.
"Are broken, we need to get you to Lothlorien" Eglaneth says, looking to Aragorn. Aragorn nods, gently picking me up. We continue into the forest, everyone on their guard.
A sudden voice splits through my head,
Elemmire, daughter of Lord Elrond, you are gravely injured and need help. We will offer that. Your soulmate brings great evil here, to my dwelling. But fear not child, you are in no harm here in Lorien.
Suddenly, we are surronded by men with arrows. Aragorn looks down at me as I cry out.
"Fear not, Elemmire, the Lady of the Wood will not harm her own grandchild" he mutters to me. I nod before answering him.
"Its not that, Aragorn, it is my ribs" I whisper back. Aragorn says that we mean no harm and the elf in front of us looks at us.
"The Lady of the Woods wishes to speak to you" he says. We all nod, and step forward, following the elves. My ribs are killing me but I ignore them, staring around us. Its beautiful. Really beautiful.
Finally, we are stopped in front of an archway. Three figures stand at the top. White light encompass them. The figure at the front is a woman, wearing a white dress. Her blonde hair fell down her back, and two parts of it lay over her shoulders. She wore a type of crown on her head, that fell onto her forehead. We all duck our heads.
Because this is Lady Galadriel, my grandmother.
"Eleven here, but twelve set out. Where is Gandalf? I wish to speak to him" a man speaks. I recognize him as Galadriels husband and my grandfather.
"He has fallen into shadow. The quest stands on a knifepoint, stray and everyone will perish" she speaks, her voice conveying years of wisdom. Her eyes speak secrets, hidden secrets. Shock runs through me and then sorrow. Gandalf was dead? But I couldn't afford to mourn right now, we were occupied with talking.
Lady Galadriel looks at me, those wisdom-filled eyes full of concern.
"Yet hope remains, as long as the Fellowship is true" she continues.
I open my mouth to speak and her voice fills my head.
You will be healed, daughter of Elrond and Celebrian. Meet me when everyone is asleep tonight. Frodo will go also. Trust me when I say this; you must only trust Frodo and Eglaneth. They will stay true to you, my child.
I nod in her direction, and she asks everyone to leave, except for me. Eglaneth only relucently goes, staring at Galadriel.
"Lady...." she gives me a cautious smile.
"Elemmire, give me your hand" she softly orders. I immediatly do as I was told. She mutters a few words under her breath and I hear several loud cracks and scream in pain. She gives me a comforting smile, and continues to mutter words.
Within a matter of minutes, I am partially healed. The rest will have to heal on its own. But I am able to run and stand, so its worth it. I slowly draw back an arrow and am glad to know that I can do that without to much pain.
