I walk away from Elemmire, who is very nice, to met some of the arriving council members. On my way, I see that the forest would be a good shortcut. It seems safe. I am walking in the the woods, but I feel uneasy, like I am being watched. I put my hand on the hilt of my sword, unable to shake the feeling.

Suddenly, a gust of wind rushes over me. No trees rustle, and not a single leaf moves. Something strange is a t work. I see a green light traveling behind me. I turn around , and see nothing. And then in front of me, a woman stands. Without hesitation, I stab her through the heart. Nothing happens, my sword merely passes through her chest, and she is unharmed.

The woman looks real, but she is a ghost. Her skin is chalk white, and her hair is long, black, and flowing. Around her is a green light. Her pointed ears suggest that she was once an elf.

"Forgive me for alarming you." She says. "I was scouting for spies. Even in Rivendell, we cannot escape from them. And if you really wanted to stab me, someone already beat you to it." She joked. Her voice was clear and it seemed to echo and resonate in your ear. Who was this woman?

"I am Eglaneth." She said, as if she was reading my thoughts.

"And I am Amaya. You know what you said earlier, about the spies?"

"Yes?" She asks cautiously.

"Elemmire said the same thing."

"Oh. It dosent surprise me, we have almost the same line of thinking. She has been a great friend of mine, from when she was a child."Eglaneth says. "Where are you going?"

"To meet the arriving council members. Do you want to come?" I offers.

"No, I prefer not to. Most people freak out way too much." She tells me. "But can you tell Elemmire where I am if she is looking for me?"

"Sure."

"Here's the gate. This is where ill leave you, I guess. Actually, I think ill go talk to Elemmire. Namarie. (Farewell)." She says, speeding off. She seems kind, I should talk to her and Elemmire more often.

"Was that Eglaneth?" Someone asks behind me. I turn around, and I am surprised to see Aragorn. Both of us being rangers, I have met him before.

"Yes, I didn't know you knew her." I responded. "Are you here for the council?

"I am. I lead the hobbits to Rivendell." He replied, gesturing behind him. There were two hobbits talking to a man with strawberry blonde hair. He was talking about Gondor. One other was standing to the side.

Aragorn lead me over to them. He introduces me to the man, who I learned was Boromir, son of the steward of Gondor. Then the hobbits who were talking to him, Merry and Pippin, and the ones standing to the side were Sam, and the ringbearer, which I saws looking for yesterday, was Frodo.

I turned back to Aragorn from merry and Pippin,. They were asking so many questions, it was almost overwhelming. "Who are we still awaiting?" I ask him.

"The dwarves, because they are always late, and the Mirkwood prince." He informs me. I nod. Hopefully, they will be here tomorrow and we can hold the council.

I talk to the hobbits a little more. It is quite late when I start to feel tired and decide too to my quarters. Four hobbits can be quite the handful! Well, not Frodo or Sam, but the other two are like children. Boromir and Aragorn left a while ago, to do something or another.

I reach my room and lay on my bed, thinking of the people I met today, as I go to sleep.
