Can't Sleep... Love? (Mavi)

Night Two

The show in Madrid has been awesome. We really rocked the house. Afterwards we celebrated a little bit before heading back to the hotel. The next day we'll need to get up early because we will be travelling through the country to Barcelona, I think, for the next gig.

But guess what? I am awake, scrolling through tumblr. Peachy. And of course Scott is asleep again. My bed feels cold and lonely, way too big for me alone.

What to do, what to do...

I sigh and open the messenger app on my phone, finding the desired contact immediately.

Me: Big Daddy?

Maybe he's still awake. Chances are small, of course, after all it's been a long day for all of us.

Yet it is only seconds later when my phone vibrates softly, announcing a new message.

Avi: Yes?

Me: You still awake O.O

Avi: Yep, just took a long shower. Laying down now, though.

Me: Alright sleep tight, Avi.

I am not going to disturb him in his precious sleep and after all me thinking I could sleep better in his presence is ridiculous. Last night was an exception and I only fell asleep because I was too tired anyway.

Avi: What's wrong? Why are you still awake?

Me: I can't sleep... don't ask me why it's frustrating!

Avi: would another Mavi sleepover help you? 

I grin widely and text him back immediately.

Me: Is that an invitation?

Avi: Yep. I'm inviting you to my hotel room.

This time I have to bite my wrist to not laugh out loud. This man. Does he even know what he's writing?

Me: You know, Avi, even boys don't like men to be that direct.

It takes Avi some time to answer this time, either he's searching for his mistake or he's cracking up, as well.

Avi: Not. What. I. Meant. I'm offering my bed for sharesies.

Me: I know exactly what you meant. Was funny, though. I'll be over in five.

Avi: Can't wait!

Said and done. A few minutes later I'm standing in front of 435 again. This time Avi opens the door right away, just as if he was waiting only for me.

"Hey, beautiful."

"Now you're flirting, Big Daddy" I return and wink at him. Two can play this game.

"Nope just stating the obvious."

Damn he sure knows how to render me speechless.

"Come on in, I was just getting comfortable."

I enter the room, and go over to the bed directly. He has the blankets already laid ou so I only have to climb in.

"Get in, I'll just have to brush my teeth, then I'll be with you."

I cuddle into the warm bed and not long after, Avi joins me. We both turn on our sides, facing each other.

"So... What is this sleepover going to be about" he asks.

"Hmm... I don't know. We could like, just talk?" I shrug my shoulders.
