When I arrive at Avi's house, he's already waiting outside, looking gorgeous, dressed in black jeans, a light grey dress shirt and a leather jacket.

"Hey, handsome man" I greet him as he sits down on the passenger's seat.

"Hello, beautiful" he returns as he leans in for a tender kiss.

I feel my cheeks heat up as he compliments me. And he hasn't seen the full extent of my outfit, yet, I'm wearing a jacket, strategically.

"So where are you taking me tonight?" he wants to know as I turn around to drive into the right direction.

"To one of my favourite places" I tell him. "The pizza there is almost as good as the one we had in Rome and they offer gluten free stuff, too!"

"Mmhm that sounds delicious. I got us seats for nine, last row, loveseat" he answers, smiling brightly.

"Yeah, we're such a good team, this evening can only be amazing!" I blow him a kiss.

We fall into a comfortable silence for the rest of the ride, singing along to the radio occasionally.

As we arrive at Alfredo's, the nice waitress leads us to the small booth I've reserved for us.

We thank her and I shrug out of my jacket, making sure to keep my back towards Avi.

I smirk as I hear him gasp behind me and turn only my head around to look into his eyes. "Like what you see, Big Daddy?"

He eyes me, his gaze resting on the visible part of my exposed back. "The simple word like cannot describe this sight. You look wonderful tonight, Mitch." He presses a kiss on my temple before getting out of his jacket.

We sit down, and engage in small talk until the waitress comes to take our orders.

"So, how did your talk with Kirstie go?" Avi wants to know as soon as we're alone again.

"Amazingly fine" I return. "She's so happy for us, too. I've talked to her about London, as well and she thinks that as soon as Esther sees how happy we are, she won't be objecting!"

Avi sighs. "I hope so. Plus she's so wrapped up in planning her wedding, she probably won't even have enough time to lash out."

I giggle. "That bad, huh?"

"Well, it's hard putting everything together, from the location, dress, flowers, catering, cake, music and everything" Avi explains. "But we finished the invitations today, I've actually got yours at home."

"You do? Thank you!"

"Of course" Avi returns. "Although you actually wouldn't need one."

I raised an eyebrow. "Why's that?"

"Because I was hoping that you would be my date!"

"You want me to go to your sister's wedding with you?" I conclude, looking at him with wide eyes. "That means you want to get official?"

"Yes! I actually want to tell Kevin, tomorrow. We're having a songwriting session in the late afternoon and well... I guess I want to have someone besides you who I can share my happiness with." He looks at me bashfully.

I giggle at that, but have to acknowledge that he is right. "And if he's okay with the two of us dating, we'd have the whole band on our side which is very important, at least for me, if we want this to last."

Avi reaches over the table to take my hand in his, apparently noticing my nail polish for the first time tonight. "Interesting colour" he comments. "Is there some sparkle going on?"
