Shopping with Scott and Kirstie is so much fun, as always. I don't buy that much stuff because I'm on some kind of shopping diet but the things I buy leave my best friends laughing out loud.

"You are so adapting his style" Kirstie comments as I grab the two flannels and take them to the checkout.

"That's not true. I'm just comfortable in  these. Nothing more nothing less!" I argue, getting out my wallet.

Kirsty burst out in laughter. "They're not even designer! Don't give me that."

"You know KitKat sometimes it doesn't matter if something is designer or not, even to me." I pay for my garments and take the bag the cashier hands to me.

This time it's Scott who shakes his head trying not to laugh as well. "Can somebody please mark this day in the calendar, Mitch Grassi just stated that designer clothing isn't that important to him. Who the hell are you and what have you done to my best friend?"

"That, Scott is something we should ask our dear friend, Avi" Kirstie intervenes, still giggling.

I roll my eyes at them and make my way out of the store. Although I don't want to, I have to admit that they are probably right. Somehow the thought of wearing flannels more often doesn't come from anyone but Avi, who has bought me my first flannel and whose shirts I've worn on more than one occasion.

"Do you think it's too much?" I want to know as we're sitting down in a small restaurant to have a snack.

"What do you mean, Mitchy?" Scott wants to know.

"What I'm doing? I just bought things that totally copy my boyfriend's style of clothing, one month ago I would've never got those" I explain. "Don't you think he'll think it's too much?"

"Mitch, you can wear whatever you want to wear. You look so good in a flannel and skinny jeans, you look good in all your overly expensive designer garments, just do you" Scott advises.

"You know what I think, Mitch?" Kirstie ponders for another moment. "You've always been someone to express yourself through the clothes you're wearing. I always know when you're unsure, because you tend to dress up, I know when you're comfortable, you're mostly wearing a cute sweater. And being with Avi just adds another facette to you and you feel the need to express yourself through wearing something different, something that fits him, maybe."

"You're a genius, Kirstie" Scott exclaims, grinning at me. "See, it's totally normal to do things like that."

"Yeah, there's nothing more comfy than to put on one of Jeremy's sweaters when I'm lounging at home" Kirstie agrees.

I smile at my best friends. "Thank you, I just still get anxious at times, although there's no need to."

Kirstie puts a hand on my arm in a comforting manner. "You're welcome, Mitch. I'm just really glad you found someone and this someone happens to be one of our best friends."

"I'll second that, definitely" Scott adds, a huge smile on his face.

A few hours later I'm sitting in my room, Wyatt is sleeping on my lap and I'm reading. We've just finished filming Superfruit and right now I'm just enjoying having my little baby back. When my phone beeps, announcing a new message from Avi, my eyes light up immediately.

Avi: Hey, Mitchy, I hope you had a blast shopping with Kirstie and Scotty. Up for a night out with me? Wanna see the new Marvel film with me?

I grin and shoot a selfie with the still sleeping sphinx on my lap, sending it over to him.

Me: If the cat let's me, I'd love to. I'll pick you up at 6 and we'll have dinner first?

Avi: Yeah why not... But I can drive, too no problem!

Me: No! You just take care of the movie tickets! I'll take care of the dinner!

I really love the fact that he wants to take of the date once again but it's my turn.

Avi: Okay, I'll be waiting. See you later, Queen!

I smile at my phone and quickly make a phone call to book a table at my favourite Italian restaurant, before I carefully put Wyatt on my comforter and make my way over to my closet to find an outfit. After contemplating for a while I decide to be a bit daring today and pick out the sweater with the huge cut on the back. I pair it up with a black skinny jeans and a cute long necklace. I put on only a small amount of make up and style my hair once again before I go into the living room where Scott and Kirstie are watching TV.

"Wow, Mitchy! Hot date tonight" Kirstie jokes.

"How sensual" Scott comments. "What are you up to?"

"Dinner at Alfredo and then the new Marvel movie" I return. "You think the outfit isn't too much?"

"No, it's perfect" Scott says. "I was wondering when you would show us this piece."

I chuckle. "Thank you, Samantha!"

"When is he picking you up?" Kirstie wants to know.

"I'm picking him up" I state. "At six."

"So there's still time... The nail polish I bought today would totally complete your look, you know."

"The dark grey with the slight sparkle? Yeah! Will you paint my nails, KitKat?"

Ten minutes later my nails are painted in a beautiful anthracite colour with a hint of black sparkle.

"I love it, thank you very much, Kirstie! I need to buy it, too!"

Kirstie giggles at that. "Maybe you should learn how to paint your left hand, first" she mocks.

I stick out my tongue towards her but press a kiss on her cheek anyway. "I need to head out, see you later!"

"Bye Mildred! Text me if you're staying at Avi's or he's staying here."

"Will do, bye!" With that I'm out of the house and on my way over to Avi's, already looking forward to spend time with him.

A/N: wow, this cute little filler chapter kind of wrote itself. Next up will be their next date. How do you think Avi will react to Mitch's outfit?
