Nicki and I have stayed distant...we rarely talk anymore. I just feels so embarrassed when I'm around her, but I can tell she's not exactly happy with the silent treatment, but that kiss was too close for comfort. I watched out the sliding glass window carefully. The man that was watching us had me on higher guard. If he was one of Gavala's men, then we should be making our way back to Los Angeles, even if we leave before Gavala gets caught.

"So are you going to sit there or are you going to talk to me?" I heard her behind me. I looked at her from the corner of my eye. Her weight was on her right leg, her arms folded under her. I didn't answer her, and just looked out the door, watching intently.

"So now it's the silent treatment huh? Dammit Janet! I'm trying to talk about this but you keep ignoring me!! I want to talk about it and I hate you always bottle up your feelings when you should just talk to somebody about it!!" I paid her no mind. I wanted too, but I was getting too emotionally involved than I already was. I heard her storm away up the stairs. I sighed and sipped my coffee and looked out. She came back down in running shorts and pink tank top with earphones and her phone.

"Where are you going?" I asked her as she made her way towards the door.

"Oh so now you want to talk to me?"

"Nicki,"

"Ugh!! I'm going for a run on the beach, since You won't talk to me and I can't call anyone to talk to...I'm getting sick of this house...and of you," She slammed the door shut. She hurt me when she said that. I felt myself falling apart. I wanted to tell her about my feelings. I went outside and sat in the lawn chair and watched her as she ran close to the water's edge. She went along, her hair flying along with every stride. I watched on my sipping on my cup. I saw her stop in front of some girl. She was red haired and, sun tanning on the beach. I frowned at her. I saw Nicki smile, giggling as The girl took her hand, shaking it. She then kissed it and Nicki was still giggling. I felt something come over me, something bubbling inside me. Nicki went to leave, but the girl held her, Nicki gave a pleading look, she was blushing still with a smile. I was getting angrier by the minute. The girl pulled out something from her bag, and wrote on Nicki's arm. Nicki waved to her as she continued a run towards the end of the area, then back towards the house. She decided to come through where I was sitting.

"Who was she?" I asked, but she rolled her eyes, turning up her music and went back to her room. I followed her.

"Answer me Onika, who was she and why was she talking to you?" I asked again she continued to ignore me as she got up to her room, trying to shut the door in my face, but I stopped the door with my foot and followed her.

"Nicki...I am not going to ask you again," I growled as she took off her shirt.

"Annoying being ignored isn't it?" She snapped, throwing attitude into her sentence while tossing her shirt into the hamper near the bathroom door.

"Nicki-,"

"What? Why do you care anyways?"

"Nicki...you are still in danger and any person out there could be a threat,"

"Yeah right...and I'll end up being queen Elizabeth after this whole mess is over with. I can flirt with whomever I want, whenever I want. It's not like you like me anyways,"

"Nicki it's not like that. I want you safe," She rolled her eyes, putting the writing on her arm onto her phone.

"What is that?"

"None of your business, now can you leave me alone?" She snapped. I grabbed her wrist, and looked at the phone number.

"Who is she?"
