It's been a few weeks and the final verdict was given. Gavala was sentence to life in prison in solitary confinement for the rest of his ungrateful life. I was glad, that way he won't have any connection to the outside world. The FBI are working on making sure all of his connection are taken care of. I started back at the dinner this week also and I have to say, I missed going to work. Although I' back in my apartment, I mostly stay with Janet all the time. we go out on more dates together now, and a lot more sessions all day on the weekends. I was working now, serving a nice family with a toddler that smiled every time I walked up to the table, it made my morning.

"How is everything?" I asked. They agreed with the taste of their breakfast dishes. The baby girl was giggling, tugging on my shirt with her little fingers. I smiled and she grabbed my finger.

"Aw...how sweet," I say to her and smile as I walk away to another table with an elderly couple. Once I took their orders, I relayed it back to the cooks and sat back, enjoying the slow business day. I enjoyed taking a breather for a minute. I wiped my hands on my apron and leaned on the counter. I saw some men walk in, all in business outfits and acting out loudly. I frowned. I already knew this was going to be a difficult day and I barely got back.

"Nicki?" My manager eyed me. I gave a sigh, then made my way over there after putting my hair up into a ponytail and grabbing my notepad and pen. I walked over casually, trying not to walk as I normally do because then they're attention would be on my ass and not their menus.

"Hey welcome...Can I start you off with any drinks?" I asked with a small smile plastered onto my face. They all looked at me and stared on. My shirt was buttoned all the way, but my skirt was short, but flowing a little bit. I had on little make-up on.

"Uh...yeah...some coffee and water for the table," said one in a blue suit as he loosened his tie.

"Sure thing," I smile, turning to leave.

"Wait...one more thing," I turned back.

"Yes," I gave a tilt of the head with a raised brow.

"You and your phone number," He smirked, the others chuckled.

"I'm sorry but I am way off the market," I say turning away to get their coffee. I made a big jug full, then returned with it in one hand and a tray of water in the other  I poured the coffee into the their cups then set down their waters.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes...very,"

"Oh Yeah?" He said while grabbing my hand. I pulled away, but he wouldn't let my arm go.

"I'm sure I can provide more than he can,"

"I doubt it...now let go," I say as politely as I can then smile. He does so, then I straighten myself out.

"Now are you ready to order?" I ask. They all do so and I bring the ticket back to chefs.

"Are they messing with you Nic?" asked Freddy, the head chef in charge.
