Detective Janet Jackson, one of the best in the L.A.P.D was a stubborn, difficult, and down right cold hearted woman who wanted things done her way or no way. With a horrible past, feeling guilt at the death of her partner. She works alone, and when...
The car finally stopped. I was sweating from head to toe due to no air being brought into the trunk of the car. I prepared to fight, I had to stay on my toes. As the trunk popped open, I lunged, tackling him to ground. We rolled and tussled. I punched him hard, but he did so back. By then my nose and upper lip were bleeding. I tried to stand and bolt away, but kicked me over, shoving his foot deep into my stomach.
"Feisty aren't we Detective?" He smirked. He grabbed me up by the hair, yanking me this way and that. I had my hair in a ponytail, so it hurt less, but then he grabbed me by the back of my neck. I screamed as he forced me into an old cottage. We were surrounded by trees and grass. Not his original killing spot. Once in, he shoved me to the ground. I shook it off and scrambled to my feet.
"Where the hell am i?" I asked. He smirked, pacing the room, pushing his glasses up onto the bridge of his nose. He circled me, looking me over. At least i did some damage as he had a cut under his right eye. He said nothing and it irritated me.
"Answer me," He stopped and looked at me, a smirk on his face. He grabbed me again, sticking a needle in my neck. I screamed as it hurt when the clear liquid went into my body. I yanked away, holding the right side of my neck.
"Sweet dreams Detective," He sat in the chair. I fought against it's effects, my vision began to blur, my body weakened. Stumbling, I made my way to the door. Everything began to merge together. I could not find the door knob for the life of me. I slid down the door to the floor, shaking. He stood over me, a chuckle escaping ominously from his lips. He was a giant pail blob right about now.
"Fight all you want, you won't be able to stay awake long," I paid him no mind. I tried to get up again. I felt so numb. I couldn't move, only groan in pain as I tried to get my body to work with my brain. Next thing I knew, I was out.

I sat in the apartment waiting. I was worried about her. Something in my stomach told me something bad was going to happen, but she was good at what she does, and had a team of others behind her. Jade sat with me while I did the laundry she was waiting for her blanket. She never slept without it. She was whining the whole time, nudging me with her nose, her tail wagging.
"Hold on baby," I giggled as I finally pulled it out of the dryer. She barked and spun around, her tail wagging in a circular motion. She barked again and again, making me laugh.
"Here you go silly," I smirked as she grabbed it gently from my hands, and made her way off with it to the couch. I shook my head as I put a new load in the dryer, when the door bell rang. I opened it to find a rather distraught Toni.
"Hey Ms. Braxton....what's wrong?" I asked her as I let her in. She seemed so nervous, and worried about something. She sat on the couch, Jade leaping off, and sitting next to her. She never really met Toni, but she took to her quickly.
"I-it's Janet-"
"Did something happen?" I asked, frightened now myself.
"Y-yes....he took her," I sat with nothing on but worry and fury on my face.
