Rachel sat on my bed staring at me with her big doe eyes. As innocent and harmless as she appeared, she scared the shit out of me. Not that I thought she would hurt me because honestly she stood no chance. But I didn't want her to know I was going to leave her again for an undisclosed amount of time. Finally though some how I got myself to be able to talk. "Rach, Rach I know I should have told you this as soon as I found out. I'm, we're leaving again Rach, Koda is out and doing god knows what. So I'm going after him to stop him." She sat there not saying anything at all. If if hadn't been for the breathing silence would have filled the room.
"I know." She finally replied in her normal tone, not showing any sign of being upset or hurt. "I figured that's why you have been acting so strange lately. Not to mention how crazy over protective you've bee. You're normally crazy and over protective but lately you've been taking it a bit further. Chris told me and Taylor what was going on. Yes I was hurt at first you didn't say anything at first but I knew you didn't because you didn't want to worry me. I'm not going to lie and say that i'm okay with this or not scared. But I know you will come back home when this is done, You did last time, even when things seemed hopeless you came back, in one piece. That's all that matters." My phone began to ring on the night stand it had been sitting on, I chose to ignore it though. What ever it was I'm sure it could wait. "You should answer you phone Cande, I can see it from here that it's Chris, you know if you don't you're going to worry him. He's just as bad as you are' his thoughts get the best of him. "Hello" I answered putting him on speaker so rach wouldn't think I was keeping anything from her. "Cande I need you and your crew to come in for a meeting, i've requested all of my main captains here." "Chris I have the girls, it's almost night i'm not leaving them here alone." I looked out the window to see that the sun was almost completely hidden behind the mountains. "Bring them here, they can try and help Layla control that baby of hers."
At the HQ right now was the last place I wanted to be. Not because I didn't enjoy spending time here but most of the other captains were dicks and I avoided them as much as I could. I was the only female captain the agency had, not only that but I had the falcon which happened to be the one airship everyone wanted. My point was proven about some of the other captains as we entered the elevator. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Captain Luna, the only female captain and Chris' pet. That's how you got the falcon correct?" Out of the corner of my eye I could see Mikaela hold Dean and Aiden back from the idiot. 'Well, well, well, if it isn't captain fucktard right? I mean there is no way you could possibly be a captain if you didn't have money. I mean really let's just be serious for a moment and admit that you have got to be the most pathetic excuse of a captain. So if you want to start calling people other's pets I would start with you and not myself." I know it wasn't very mature to drop to his level but he was so annoying and full of himself that every time I saw him the more he reminded me of rick. But unlike Rick I could actually hit this idiot if I needed to. "So what you've brought your little sisters?" "Don't you fucking look at them!" I screamed as I pulled my fist back and felt it smash into his face with full force.
"My nose! My nose! You broke my fucking nose you bitch!" Again out of the corner of my eye I could see Mikaela struggling to keep Dean under control. Now being on the floor with him I grabbed part of his almost non exsistant man part and began to squeeze. "I hope I did break it. And if you ever look at my girls again you fucking pervert I will be sure I break more than your nose." I warned before getting lifted up by Dean. Squirming in his arms I reached back into the elevator and pushed all of the buttons to trap him in like how I had with Mark a long time ago. "Who was that?" Taylor asked trying to hide the smile that was growing on her face. "No one. He's just an idiot and a pervert and god help him if he ever comes across me again. I will fucking kill him!" Dean smiled as he continued to carry me, refusing to set me down for fear that I would go to what ever floor the elevator was on. "What does he have against you?" "Nothing Rach, most male captains are full of themselves and don't like the idea of a girl being a capain. It scares them seeing one just as or better than them. Dean cleared his throat and looked down at me. "I said most male captains not all." "Good because I find it hot that you're a captain, you are scary though. All tiny and stealthy, like a tiny little ninja full of wrath."
Ava gretted everyone as soon as we entered her enclosure. "No you naughty baby. How did you get out I told that werewolf you were in time out. Oh god Ava what have you done to him that you are free now? Good god I can not leave you with anyone because you are the devil! You love Cande so much you can live with her little lady. You listen to her better than me." "Yes! Yes you be my new mommy and sexy will be my new daddy? I's like that plan." Dean looked terrified at the realization of a baby calling him sexy. "Dat ass." She whispered as I picked her up and still admired Dean. "I'm so sorry Cande, I need to keep apoligizing for this demon. Thank goodness you girls are here. I need to give Ava her bath and she keeps fighting me, she even went as far as biting me! Hopefully she'll listen to you as well as she listens to your sister." I handed Ava to Rach who very happily she went to smiling the whole time. "Thank you for keeping an eye on the girls Layla. I know you have your hands full with Ava." She smiled and shook her head no, "Oh Cande you know I would never tell you no. They can help me try and exercise Ava's demons. I've filled her tub with holy water, not really but that demon serioulsy needs a bath. Go ahead and go to your meeting." She smiled and ran after Ava who had jumped out of Rachel's arms and was now running as fast as she could down a hallway.
