This was not part of the original plan at all. I would never step foot here, especially with everything that has happened. I suppose since they were the ones that called out to us we had to land. Though they weren't clear on what they wanted, I knew it wasn't going to be good at all. The Immortals hated me. They didn't come out and say it but they did. With Koda they would see me as going against my "own kind." As frightened as I was; I did not tell anyone though it would make perfect sense to fear the immortals. Immortals are and always have been the most powerful supernatural being since the beginning. Their strength cannot be matched nor can their speed or intelligence. Not to mention the fact of their immortality. The only way to keep one down was to decapitate their head and turn it to ash, then send it away from the body to never be found again. Needless to say, Immortals were indestructible. Because of how Immortals are they considered themselves to be god like and acted as if they honestly believed they were. They considered themselves to be better than everyone else and called themselves the superior species. The truth was though, they were no better than everyone else. They were just as afraid of everything that is going on as anyone else. They though had a better bluff and were able to fool everyone including themselves.

"No." I answered before the eager looking Aiden could get a word out. "You didn't even let me say anything before you shot me down." He replied standing in front of me to cut me off from the exit. "Seeing that you are suited up to get off with me, you didn't have to say anything Aiden. There is no way I am taking you with me. Immortals are dicks and I don't know what I would do if they made a derogatory comment towards you. Trust me. I know how Immortals are. I'm not having any of you go through that. I will be right back, I am just going to see what they want and then we're leaving." Aiden remained in front of me shaking his head in a dramatic way sending his brown locks flying in the direction his head went. "Cande no. I really don't trust this whole situation. All this time and they have had nothing to do with you. They pretty much acted like you weren't good enough to be one of them just because your blood line did not carry nothing but immortals. And now they want you to come and have a cup of tea with them. No! Fuck no! I'm going with you. You have two choices you let me go, or Dean turns the falcon around and we leave here resulting in the immortals getting pissed."

It was hard to take Aiden serious and fight the smile that so desperately wanted to get out. Just the way he stood there with his arms crossed on his chest and his brow slightly furrowed made him appear child like. No, No, I don't think the word you're looking for is child like. It's more sassy. You know like when girls get all worked up and stuff. That my good woman is sassy. And Aiden is too sassy for his own good. I think it's time we have the talk with Mika and tell her that her Aiden prefers men instead of women. It's going to break her heart but it must be done. "Fine." I huffed in response knowing that there really was no other option. "The first sign you two get in trouble you haul ass back to the falcon. I don't care you have to carry her away Aiden." Dean called as he spun in the seat he had been sitting in to look over at us. Ah Just look at that too good looking jerk! He's smiling because he knows this one time he pulled one over on you. No. That's not going to fly with us. Not this time. He knew that you would agree to take Aiden if he threatened to leave without finding out what they wanted. Oh he's good, but we're better. We'll get that handsome devil back. Oh, yes we will. Just give me time to come up with something.

Just to add to how full of themselves the immortals were all one had to do was look around at the land they had claimed. It looked as if it were something out of a story book about a princess. Or how people imagined the land to look when gods were around. There were no gods or princess here though. Just monsters with flawless skin and good looks to make anyone blush.  Walking amongst the immortals made me feel even worse about my appearance. Perhaps if Rachel had turned into an immortal I would be as stunning as an immortal with that blood line. "If you say what you are thinking out loud I will push you down and roll you down that hill I see." "I didn't say anything Aiden." I replied not looking at him. "No you didn't, but I know you well enough to know what you are thinking. You are beautiful Cande, and your heart is one that cannot ever be matched. How many of the immortals do you think I would be able to say that about and honestly mean? I don't think any so stop being so hard on yourself and realize your true worth." He ended his speech by nodding his head in agreement Once again causing his luscious hair to move his him.
