Don't you worry about a thing. You got this. I mean do you know anyone else who is an immortal hybrid? Because I don't. You're going to go out there and handle business, then we're going to get back on the falcon and go home. Not only that but we are going to be considered heros for killing Koda. Think of all the things we may get for this. So get your head out of your ass and realize how amazing you are. No more double thinking yourself you know exactly what you're doing.

The little voice's I guess you could call it a pep talk didn't ease my mind at all though. I had to give her credit for trying though. For once she wasn't being insanely perverted which was a nice change. Instead of being like Aiden and out of my room, socializing with everyone I took this time to be by myself. Just to be alone with my thoughts and think of what would happen to Rach if anything happened to me. I knew what I was getting myself into from the start. There was just as good of a chance that I could be killed as there was that I would return home. Koda was probably the most evenly matched person that I would have to go against. If anything he was stronger than I was since he has no shred of humanity left in him. I would never admit it out loud but I was honestly scared, not scared of losing or dying but scared of losing everyone that I cared the most about. That was the real only reason I had agreed to do this in the first place.

"Love, Mark needs you out here. He says he needs to give you and Aiden something before the two of you head out." Dean spoke through the door. It sounded like his mouth was literally against it. Not saying anything I silently got off of the bed and made my way out of the room. "Hey are you okay?" He asked slightly cocking his head down to get a better look at me. "I'm fine." I replied forcing a smile but he was able to see right through the lie. "You know Cande. We're going to be married in a couple of months. You're not supposed to lie to me. With every lie my heart breaks a little more and more."  A small laugh came out as I gently nudged Dean away. "See I can make you laugh. Seriously though If you're not comfortable with this whole thing I can go in your place. All you have to do is tell me. Tell me and I'll do it for you, just the thought of you doing this kills me. I'm not kidding this time." I shook my head no at Dean. Just the idea of him going was killing me. I loved him to death but going up against Koda would be the death of him. If I felt like this with my heart feeling like it was breaking I could only imagine how Dean felt. "I'll be fine." I replied placing a hand on his chest.

"There you are! I've been waiting for you for quite some time now. I was almost starting to believe you got lost with your handsome partner. Come have a seat now while I heat this up." Mark power walked over to where I stood with Dean and pulled me away by wrapping his arm around my waist. Not fully approving of Mark touching me Dean let out a low growl. Hey tell him to keep his arm at an approiate height. His arm is pretty low, that idiot pervert. I told you he wanted Dean. Did I not tell you about a year ago when we were buy beer and stuff. He called Dean handsome and totally checked him out! Hey yence fancies men so why not set the two of them up. Oh god that would be one unattractive odd couple. But we could laugh at their expense if we wanted to. I tried to walk faster than Mark to get away but he got what I was trying to do. So instead of ditching him he kept up with my pace until we reached an area that Aiden was sitting. Like his best friend Aiden did not approve of Mark having his arm around me either. The same low growl escaped him as he narrowed his eyes on Mark. "Let me go and get your guys' treatments and I will be right back." Mark  said as he walked by running a hand under my chin as he passed.

"Stop." I said quietly as I applied a little pressure to Aiden's leg to get him to sit back down in his seat. "Cande that guy. Oh my god that guy! He's just so creepy and the way he looks at you. It's just wrong and I consider you to be my sister, so that just makes me want to beat the shit out of him." Aiden's cheeks flushed a light pink as he threw himself back into his seat. "Aiden darling. Mark, well Mark is Mark. He's creepy yes but he is completely harmless. I promise you that. Think about it what would he do if he got into it with you? Nothing. Probably scream like a little girl and wave a wand at you. He is not a fighter at all and I can sure you he is not a threat. Most of the things he does is just to get under your skin. He knows that touching me makes you and Dean want to kill him. He also knows that I won't let that happen. So think of it this way; he's being protected by a girl." Aiden laughed and shook his head. "You should just let us slap him around a bit. You know just so he learns to leave you alone. Nothing to really hurt him." As tempting as that was I couldn't allow Aiden to slap Mark around. I would put money on it that as soon as Aiden would touch him Mark would do a banshee scream.
