I Need U // Park Jimin

CHAPTER 4: No... This isn't true...

"The police will sought everything out. If anything bad happens, it's not your fault," jimin hugged me again.
"What if mum...dies...I wish I could save her," tears rolled down my face.
"You'll get shot if you go. I'm not losing you. I'm here melody. The same happened to my brother I know how you feel."
"Jimin," I cried, simply because I needed him.

He turned his phone on again, and shifted himself so I could see the screen.
"Just remembered, I have live news updates. We'll pick your dad and sister up in a minute. The gunmen are in the park, your mum is the first priority," jimin said looking concerned.
I started to fiddle, like I always do when there is a negative feeling present around me.

He put the news on his phone.
There was a lady in a smart blue suit ; a news reporter:
"This is an exclusive live news. Terrorists are attacking Hyde park, and they are shooting people one by one." I put my hand over my mouth.
"The police have caught most of the terrorists, but witnesses said 5 people got shot - including a dog." She said.

A DOG. TESSA. MUM.

"NO... This can't be true... THIS IS NOT HAPPENING!!" I screamed.
"It has been confirmed that 2 young boys, and 3 women have been killed. The 2 young men were around 15 - 17 years old. One of the women was wearing a pink dress with a black cardigan, walking a dog." The news reporter announced.

Mum was wearing a pink dress that dad gave her as a present.

"NO!!!!!" I screamed. "NO!!!MUM!! Tessa..." I trailed off and suddenly felt dizzy. I blacked out.

~Two hours later~

I woke up feeling groggy, as if it was a dream. Jimin was next to me, he was holding my hand. And beside him was my dad and sister Danielle. Their faces looked pale and ghostly.
"You're in a hospital, you fainted. We're safe from the terrorists, they got caught by the police," He Smiled. It was a sad smile.

"Dad... Danielle...Do you know about this?..." I started to feel my tears coming again. They nodded.
"I'm so sorry."
"It's not your fault. You don't need to apologise dear." Dad said, his worried eyes looking into mine.
"So mum and tessa are never going to come back..." Danielle cried. She's only ten, but I could tell she knew what dying meant. I looked at dad . His eyes were red and puffed up from crying.

- Jimin's POV-
-- Flashback --
(Two hours ago:)
I drove to the hospital and asked the nurse to look after her. I just found out now that all the terrorists were captured. Phew, I thought. Will melody be alright? I really hope she doesn't get depression, this is unfair.  What did melody and her family do to deserve this?

I called up melody's dad, and said to come to the hospital because she fainted. His voice was shaking. He probably watched the news. Tears came out of my eyes. That's what happened to my hyung. He got shot and mum didn't even know about it until I told her. I still remember the expression on her face when I told her that. It upsets me. I shook my head. I don't want to think about it at all.

Melody's dad said he'll come with Danielle in a few minutes.

When they arrived, I ran to them. I bowed my head. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Kansa. I tried my best to keep her calm. She fainted as soon as she saw the news." I said. I felt guilty.
"No, I should be the one saying sorry. Thank you so much for looking after melody. And for picking us up. I really appreciate it." He tried to smile.
"Melody is lucky to have you."
He looked sincere, but his eyes were sad and lost.
