Batman wasn't amused. He wasn't a babysitter he's the world's greatest detective! And yet here he was stuck in Wayne Mannor with his son Damian and Irey West. He was put on babysitting duty because the JLA thought he was getting to old. Well Bruce isn't sitting around. He's only a part time leaguer. He can handle the mission alone. He's had five Robins for God sake! But then Bruce thought about Damian and Iris. They would be OK for a few hours... Damian can control his temper for that long... Bruce walked into the sitting room where Damian and Iris were on the ground petting Titus. Bruce smiled and walked out. When Damian was sure his father was gone he got to his feet. Irey copied. "What're you doing?" Her face full of confusion and sadness that they would no longer play with the big dog. "TT- He's gone I no longer have to put on this imbecile act." Irey frowned, but it quickly turned into a smile. "So what're we gonna do?!" She excitedly bounced on the balls of her feet.

Damian took off his shirt to reveal his Robin costume. He slapped a mask on his face and fixed his cape. "'we' will not be doing anything. I will be out fighting crime and you shall stay here until I return" She pouted "No fair!" Damian raised an eyebrow at her. 'This girl would hold him back. However, it wouldn't be very smart to leave her in a mansion with the batcave alone..' Damian sighed. "Fine" Irey squealed in delight. There was a gust of wind and there she was in her Impulse costume.

The next thing they know they're in an alley battling a bunch of thugs who're operating a drug trade. Robin swung batarangs left right and center but couldn't get the number of thugs to stop increasing. Just when he was about to be over taken a breeze blew by and suddenly all the thugs were on the ground. Impulse stood smugly a few feet away.
Damian smirked. Maybe there was more to this girl than he had thought.
