Bruce had no option but to take his annoying son to the JLA meeting. Damian refused to not hear the new missions available. The kid was as stubborn as him.
At first he didn't want and couldn't believe he actually had a son. Sure he adopted Dick, Jason, Tim and Cassandra but still. To think his own flesh and blood was a twelve year old assassin raised by the world's craziest killers. Bruce didn't even enjoy the damn JLA meetings so he couldn't understand why Damian would want to come.
Being stuck in a room with a bunch of idiots was Bruce's worst nightmare. Hearing Clarck go on about how amazing he was could make Bruce cry and don't even get him started on Wally and Green Lantern always goofing off. Diana was hot but the problem was that she was too head strong.
The meeting had finally stopped and the heroes had all split into small groups to mingle. Bruce looked across from him to see Damian snoring lightly in his seat. A small smile placed itself on his face only for it to erase when Clark put a hand on his shoulder. He glared up at the man.
"The kid's cute"
Bruce grunted.
Diana, Hal and Wally took the opportunity to join in.
"Yes Bruce, I must say you both look quit similar"
Bruce again grunted. Not bothering to tell them he's leaving he got up and walked over to the sleeping Damian. He thought about waking him up but quickly dismissed it when he thought about how embarrassed the young boy may be. Instead, he gently lifted the boy bridal style and began to walk to the transporter.

Bruce tucked Damian into bed. Struggled into his pillow, his large dog right beside him and he'd never looked more childlike in his life. Bruce watched him for a couple minutes and couldn't help think about all the times he had tucked Dick into bed or nursed a sick Jason back to health or read Tim a bed time story and here was his real blood son who pretty much hates his guts. He slowly bent down and kissed his forehead before leaving. Maybe Damian wasn't such a brat after all? No he'll always be a brat..
