Here Comes the Bride, Speeding Down the Isle

Damian was in his dressing room. He tied his tie tight around his neck and made sure his shoes shined, without a hair out of place. There was a soft knock at the door. Damian turned and Bruce walked in.
"Damian, the priest is waiting"
Damian gives his father a nod. Dick comes racing in and gives Damian a big bear hug. Now twenty years old Damian was just an inch sorter than Dick. Jason came in along with Tim.
"Three birds down, one to go"
Tim smirked at Jason.
"If that's hinting at me there is no way on Batman's leather ass am I getting married"
"I dunno Jay. Cass seems very interested"
Dick teased.
"Are you ready?"
Damian nodded.
"After the wedding, Iris and I will be in New York for two weeks and will be back in time for Christmas"
"Aw. I'm going to miss you baby bird"
Dick cries.
"Let's get this son of a bitch down the isle"
Damian and Bruce glared at Jason who just insulted Damian's mother. Bruce and Damian walk out of the room.
"Talia really is a bitch though"
"No ones denying it"
Tim smirks.

Irey was in her dressing room. Her mother put the vail in her daughter's ginger head that was tied in a bun with lose curls hanging down. She stood up and looked in the mirror.
"Do I look ok?"
"You look amazing"
Irey and Linda both look and standing in the door way is Irey's dad. Irey's grin grew wide.
"Ready daddy?"
"No."
Wally looked sad but there was a glimmer of excitement in his green eyes.

The music began to play and everyone turned to the door. Damian stood at the centre of the alter with a priest. On his right stood Dick, Jason, Tim and Jai. Bruce stood at the pews. Gasps rang out as the doors open and Irey linked to Wally both walked in. Everyone marvelled at how beautiful Irey was. When Damian turned around and met her eyes he was speechless. When they made it to the alter Wally let go of Irey's hand and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He stood beside Linda and Bruce. After Irey was at the alter her brides maids came in. Lian in a light green dress, Stephanie in a purple and Cassandra in black. They made their way up and stood to Irey's right.

Damian slid the ring onto her finger and smiled at her.
"I've done many things in the past that I'm not proud off. I've killed, lied and cheated. I was a brat. But one of the best experiences in my life was when my mother left me with my father because I learned the true meaning of family and I'm ready to open my heart and my home to you, Iris West. I can't go a day without seeing your face and now I won't even have to go twenty four hours because I need you. I'm addicted to you like a druggie to drugs, an alcoholic to beer, like Joker to Batman" everyone who caught the joke laughed but Bruce glared at Damian. "I do promise to love and honour you for the reminder of my days."

Irey teared up and they both shared a sweet kiss. Damian scoped Irey into his arms bridal style and carried her out of the church and into the limo. Together they drove off into their perfect sunset...until half way down the road a bank was being robbed so Flash and Red Bird showed up and kicked his ass.
