Get in the Damn Car!

Irey was standing in her soon to be baby's room. She held her stomach and smiled.
"This'll be your room soon"
She spoke softly. The baby kicked but it was a lot harder than it had ever been. Irey held onto the cot and then her water broke.
"Oh no"
She whispers in shock.
"B-Bruce!"
Within ten minutes Bruce was by her side helping her stand.
"What is it?"
He asked worriedly.
"My water broke and Damian's at work"
Bruce nodded and he took Irey down the stairs and into the car.
"We'll call Damian on the way"

Damian sat bordely in his office. Six men and woman were discussing new business for Wayne industries when he had gotten a call. His secretary walked in.
"Mister Wayne your father and wife are on the line"
Damian jumped up and grabbed his car keys.
"Wait! Where are you going?! We have an important meeting!"
Damian looked at the snooty business investor.
"My wife is in labour. I have to go"
"I knew your father made a mistake by letting you run half of HIS company. Going off for something as stupid as the birth of a baby. Your father would never do that"
Damian glared at the man.
"Well I'm nothing like my father.. Oh and Jerry? When you're finished here hand in your weeks notice. You're fired"
Damian ran to his car and drove out of the car park. Into the huge city traffic.

Dick jumped from the sofa in his apartment.
"I'm on my way Wally!"
Dick hung up and ran to his crappy car.

"Linda! She's having the baby! I'm going to kill him!"
Wally yelled as he waited for his wife to come down. She walked down the stairs and glared at him.
"Wally, would you calm down? Our baby's having a baby! Get your coat on and let's go!"

Bruce drove down the street with ease.
"I'll make sure you get in safely then leave"
Irey looked at him in shock.
"What? No. Bruce, it's your grandchild. You HAVE a right to be there"
"Damian wouldn't want me there"
Irey reached out and touched his arm.
"He really does"
Bruce smiled at her. Then she let out a scream of pain.
