Two weeks passed and I was sick. But not just any kind of sick, morning sickness. Corena had bought me a pregnacy test the day before, and I was just working up the courage to use it.
"Would you just pee on the stick!" Corena grumbled and pushed me into the bathroom. "But I don't have to pee?" I said and Corena rolled her eyes. "If you do not pee on that stick, I will put your hand in hot water while you sleep and make you." I huffed and went towards the toilet. Corena turned her back, grinning. "I get the feeling you know something I don't." I said as I positioned myself over the stick awkwardly. I prayed to God I didn't pee on my hand. As I started to pee, Corena chuckled. "Oh I do." She said and rocked back on my heels. Corena was nice, and an exceptional friend. She was there when I needed someone with lady parts to talk to. I was trapped in a house filled with boys and the testosterone was suffocating. Corena lived in the area and we spent a lot of time together. Lana visited Henry a lot, giving me the impression that they were back on.
I finished and wiped myself with one hand, holding the stick with the other. I waited the designated time period and a blue plus sign started to appear. My heart jumped to my throat and I looked up at Corena with wide eyes. I showed her the stick and she giggled. "I know. I sensed the presence of the baby today." I pulled up my pants and washed my hands quickly. Castiel had been in his office since before I woke up. He'd lied to me. He said it was hard for him to fertilize eggs but my eggs sure did feel fertilized.
I angrily marched down the stairs with Corena on my heels. The boys were in the kitchen, Lana was the too. She was sitting on Henry's lap and they were all laughing at something. I stopped just inside the kitchen and Cass turned around. He leaned against the island and smiled at me, it wavered when he saw my expression. "I'm pregnant you jerk." I threw the pee stick at his chest and it bounced to the floor. The laughter stopped and all eyes were on me. I glared at me and his eyes widened with realization. He looked down at my stomach, sniffed the air, and met my eyes again. "You're pregnant." He whispered and Drew slapped the back of his head.
"You knocked up my best friend!" He shouted.
"You knocked up my baby sister!" Henry yelled.
"You two had sex?" Gabe said.
"Yes. We have established that he got me pregnant. Now you tell me how the hell it happened!" I got into Castiel's face and he looked down at me, still in shock. A smile spread across his face as he scooped me up and kissed my lips. It was fast and weird. He held my gently like I was made of glass. "We're having a baby!" He was beyond excited and I groaned. "I'm nineteen!" Henry cried out dramatically and Drew pretended to faint.
"Jesus you guys are disgusting. First you make out in front of me and then you have sex? That's sick." I glared at Gabe and he smirked. "Oh shut up."
Castiel lowered me to the floor and placed his hands over my stomach. He knelt down and wrapped his arms around my waist, pressing the side of his face to my stomach. "I'm going to be a father." He said. I was still trying to wrap my brain around the fact that he'd gotten me pregnant. "Dude, we gotta get married." I said and Castiel looked up at me in confusion. "A human wedding?" He asked and I nodded my head. "I am not having a kid until I'm married. That's just a warning to all of you, including you." I pointed down at my stomach. There was a moment of silence before they burst into action, shouting over each other.
"I'll get the flowers!"
"I think I can bake a cake!"
"Can I be the flower boy?" I gave Gabe a look and he simply grinned. Everyone was bustling around, trying to plan my wedding without my permission. "Hold up!" They stopped and looked at me. "I am planning this wedding because I am getting married not any of you." Castiel frowned at me. "Is that too much stress for you?" I rolled my eyes at him and put a hand on my hip. "It's a baby not a nuclear reactor." I said and Castiel moved towards me, pulling me into his arms.
"You're carrying a Lycan child. You could carry from two months up to nine. So in a sense, you are a nuclear reactor." I leaned my head against his chest and sighed, suddenly tired. "Jesus, Cass. You make things difficult." I mumbled and he hugged me to him. "I'm still planning my wedding because you guys don't have vision." Henry gasped and Drew put his hand over his heart. "We have vision." Drew said and Henry nodded in agreement. I rolled my eyes and wound my arms around Castiel's waist. "I highly, extremely, doubt it."
