"Mamă, tată, acesta este dragostea mea, sufletul meu pereche, luna mea, Aurora." Castiel's grip on my hand was the only thing keeping me from passing out as he introduced me to his parents. They were stunning. Castiel's mother had blonde hair that flowed down her back in gentle waves. His father had a full head of thick black hair, with a few grays here and there. He was huge, as tall as Castiel, maybe taller. His face was settled into a hard mask. I pressed myself closer to Castiel's side and he squeezed my hand to reassure me.

"Aurora, my parent's, Lucian and Annabeth." Annabeth's face lit up. She left Lucian's side to grab me and pull me into a bone crushing hug. "I'm so happy that another of my children has found their mate. We've waited so long for you, Castiel longer. He's my eldest child and I am thrilled to finally see him where he belongs." Castiel groaned from behind me.

"Mamă." He said and his father shook his head. "No, you're mother is right. You were wrong to be with any other women than the one you have now." His father's voice was bold, it ran like water but held the power of an explosion. Annabeth let go of me and I was pulled into another hug by Adela. "Sister." She breathed into my ear. She stepped back shortly after and Alister grinned at me. "She's beautiful Castiel." He stated winking at me and I grinned. Alister had quickly become my favorite.

"Watch yourself, brother." Castiel warned and Alister chuckled. "Chill out Cass, I could use a little flattery." I said, and Alister's laughter grew louder. Lucian smirked and Annabeth giggled beneath her hand. Castiel pulled me back to him and dipped his head to kiss me. I spun out of his arms and he growled at me. "Ah, I've still got it." Alister said and Castiel looked about ready to strangle him. I grabbed the back of his head and yanked him down, crashing his lips against mine. He bit my bottom lip, asking for access and I shook my head, breaking the kiss. "I don't know about you," I said against his lips. "but I'm starving."

We'd sat in the sun room lounge and talked about nothing and everything. Castiel had his arm locked around my waist the entire time, making me lean against his chest.

"How has your life been?" Lucian suddenly asked. The laughter quickly died in my throat. Castiel's arm tightened around my waist. "I know that you are a Vânător, a Hunter. Did you start recently?" If I thought Castiel's accent was strong, Lucian and Annabeth's were much stronger. My jaw set and I tried not to look angry, because that's how my childhood made me feel. I shook my head. "Very early."

"Well," I started but didn't know what to say. "It wasn't, easy. We watched out for eachother, my brothers and I. My dad was always, gone. We stayed with Jacob, a friend of his, a lot. Sometimes he'd take us with him. He wanted us to see what really went on in the world. I killed my first creature when I was five, and hundreds more since then. Maybe thousands, I've lost track. I've had a lot of close calls. A lot of life threatening injuries. I've been sold to a crossroads demon a few times, that was fun. And I went to hell when I was 9. Don't know how I got out, just that I did. It was rough, growing up. But I made it, in one piece." I shrugged like it was no big deal and wiped my face with my sleeve. I'd only gone to hell for a few months, but it had felt like years. It was the most painful experience of my life and it was my own fault that I'd ended up there.

"Where was your mother during all this?" Lucian asked, angered. I laughed through the tears and shook my head. "Possesed by a demon when I was five, the reason my father started hunting again. Then a few months ago, she came for my father. The demon in her anyway, to finish the job." Lucian's mouth snapped shut and his eyes softened considerably. "But I wouldn't change anything." I realized it was true as I said it. "I love my family. And the things that I went through made me stronger. I know there's nothing I can't handle. I know what's important in this life, and that's family. Over the years of saving people, or seeing them die, I learned that family is the one that grieves you. That fights to get you back. That's what matters." Castiel turned me towards him and placed a lingering kiss on my forehead.

"Aurora!" Gabe burst in through the sliding doors and ran towards us. I shot up and Gabe handed me my phone. His eyes were terrified. I looked down at my phone in confusion.

There was a text from an unknown number on the screen with two words.

Surf Board.

Henry's S.O.S. words.
