"This is awkward." I said to Gabe. We were both tied to chairs from our own stupidity. We'd left early in the morning, Castiel was gone, to scope out an abandoned building where Henry, Drew, and Weni must have gone to. After completing my map, I noticed it was pretty damn near centered in all the demon madness. We'd chosen to go by ourselves because why not? We figured the trio, as we'd started calling them, had cleared the place out. Or at least driven the demons out and to a new place. What we hadn't expected was to walk into a whole pack of demons doing who knows what. We'd fought them off, killing twenty or so, before being forced down. Now we were tied to chairs facing each other.
"Please be gentle with that angel weapon. It was a gift." I said as a male demon twisted it around in it's hands. He scuffed and carried my beauty away. He disappeared into a doorway leaving Gabe and I with a female demon who was obviously in charge.
"I'm really proud of you, I am. It must be hard to be a female demon you know. They don't think you're evil enough but I see you've made a name for yourself here." The demon slapped me across the face, causing my head to whip to the side. I spat out the blood that came from a cut on the inside of my mouth. "I guess I earned that." The demon left me and went to stand behind Gabe. She ran her fingers through his hair before yanking his head back. She pressed a knife to his throat and Gabe didn't make a sound. He stared straight ahead at me like the warrior he was when it came down to it.
"Tell me what I want to know." The demon asked for the hundredth time. She wanted to know what Atarius wants with us. Apparently he didn't just want Henry, he wanted me too. Drew and Henry were bate for me. I was unknowingly playing into the demons hands. I figured it was actually a good plan. If I could get inside of their hideout, I could pray for Dean and he could zap a shit load of Hunter's there. It sounded good in theory but knowing demons they probably had the place booby trapped for angels.
"I didn't know my brother was gone until a week ago. Upon investigation of his disappearance I was graced with your, uh, awesome presence." I was tempting her, I knew it was risky, but I needed to keep her talking. She knew more about this situation than we'd gotten in the time we'd been looking for them.
"If you're so valuable to him, maybe he'll come get you himself." She said more to herself than to us. "What's your problem with Atarius, isn't he your boss man?" I asked and she shoved Gabe's head away from her. She came towards me, crouching before me. She ran her knife down my arm, and then my leg. "Do you know what I am inside this worthless human?" She asked, tipping her head to the side. I shook my head, hardening my expression. She got up slightly, leaning against me to speak into my ear. "Not a girl." It said into my ear and my heartbeat quickened. "So you're a tranny?" I asked, keeping my composure. The demon chuckles and backed away from me, licking her lips. "Nope, this is just what was available on our timeline."
"There's somewhat of a, civil war, going on in Hell. Lucifer's getting out of that cage. I for one, want to keep him inside of it. With Atarius gone, I won't ever have to worry about it." The demon went back to my brother, running her fingers down his cheek. "Why would you want daddy dearest locked away?" It snorted and looked at me over it's shoulder. "My father is no saint. As soon as he's out of that cage, he'll eradicate you pathetic apes. The angels will try to protect you, God's orders. But nothing will stop Lucifer, not this time. Once you're gone who do you think is next?" It turned so it was standing directly in front of Gabe, blocking my view of him. "He made you." I said and it rolled its eyes.
"He made us in spite. He ain't too proud of how we turned out. That cage is keeping me alive. I'd like to keep my skins. Once Atarius is gone, there's no demon in hell that'll be able to get Lucifer out. Why he need's you and the rest of your worthless family, I have no idea." I looked at her in confusion and she smirked. "You didn't know?" It laughed and walked towards me with a spring in it's step. It leaned over me again, speaking in my ear.
