Chapter 1 - Wrong Move

"He's really something. He's smart, handsome, and oh-so hot! Geez. I really like him sis. I'll do my greatest awesome best just to make his rock-hard heart beats for me. And then everything would be perfect! Right? Yeah, of course I'm right. But damn! I'm also smart, beautiful, kind, loving, and I also got many suitors, but why he didn't notice me at all?"

Yeah, she's that proud of herself. And I also don't have any idea why he likes the guy she's referring to. Shiz. What's with her? I really don't get her. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung bakit bestfriend ko siya eh. Maybe siya lang ang tumagal sakin, sa ugali ko. But despite of that, I don't want her to get hurt. He's referring to a heartless person. I've tried to discourage her and warned her about that but she's that hard-headed brat who never listens and always insists.  At wala na akong magagawa diyan. It's her choice.

"You already said that a thousand times." Walang emotion kong sabi.

Huminto siya sa paglalakad kaya napahinto rin ako. Naniningkit ang mga mata niya nang tumingin siya sa akin at unti-unting ngumiti. Tch.

"Really? I can't remember." She said innocently.

Ugh. She's always like that. I can find it irritating but I'm used to it. I just roll my eyes on her and decided to continue walking. She always walks too slow so I always left her because of that. Sumunod siya sa akin at pinantayan ako sa paglalakad. She starts to talk again about the same topic. All about Sean Caleb Norwood over again. And it's really irritating so I just ignore her trying not to listen.

I speed up my walk and now she's running. Yeah, my walk is her run. I felt relief when we got in front of my room. Were not classmates. We have different schedules. She waved goodbye but I didn't response. That's our everyday routine. I walked towards my seat at the back corner of the room. I'm not socially friendly. No one likes my attitude, except her.

"Uhm, Caisley pakipirma nito. Para to sa project ng Chemistry subject natin."

Nilingon ko ang nagsalita. Tila nagdadalawang isip pa siya kung kakausapin niya ako. Tch. It's the president for this subject. I looked at her coldly before I turn my stare at the folder she's handling to me. I get the folder from her hand and read it silently. Nang makasiguro ako ay pinirmahan ko na at ibinalik sa kanya nang hindi tumitingin. Nang maibalik ko na ay agad siyang kumaripas ng takbo paalis. Tch. Stupid cowards.

I closed my eyes for some minutes until our professor came. Inayos ko ang upo ko nang makarating na siya sa harapan. Nilalaro ko ang ballpen na hawak ko habang nakikinig sa discussion niya. Others find it boring but I think she's a great professor. Maybe I'm not normal, and I don't care. Masaya na ako sa iba pang sumunod na subject ngunit kaklase ko na ngayon sa susunod na suject si Levi, ang bestfriend ko.

Sigurado akong guguluhin nanaman niya ako at magkukwento nanaman tungkol sa lalaking walang kwenta. Ang lalaking binansagang "The Heartless Lord" Lord? What the fuck. Mukha daw kasi siyang diyos/anghel, pero ugaling demonyo. Ang tanga lang ng gumawa nun. Nang makarating ako sa susunod na subject ay nagtaka ako. I was expecting she was already there. But I found none but an empty chair. Where the hell did she go? I tried to call her thinking she's just late. And it's unusual. But no one answers. Damn! What the hell happened?!

I enter the room thinking she's just planning a prank on me but she's still nowhere to be found on the corners of the room. I ran as fast as I can to search for her. I can take the risk on skipping the class just to find her. Damn! I'm being a paranoid because of her! I tried to search for her in the cafeteria, in the field, on the rooftop, everywhere! I almost search the whole campus! If it wasn't just that big. Tch.

I paused for a while for I am taking my breath. I was about to give up when I remember that giving up was not a part and cannot be found in my vocabulary. I'm ready to take my steps again when I heard tiny voices and sounds from the gymnasium. I'm pretty sure that voice was familiar. That was when I realized that it was Levi. Crap. I silently enter the gym so they won't notice me. I found them at the edge of the stage. The stage is high. She's crying while the demon is at her back. Mukhang itutulak niya si Levi mula sa stage down to the ground.
