Chapter 16 - She's Mean

I stopped after Ashleigh did. Tumingin ako sa paligid at nakitang nandito kami sa pinakadulong parte ng school kung saan wala masyadong tao at abandonado na rin ang mga rooms na nandito. Gaano ba talaga kaseryoso ang pag-uusapan namin? I have the feeling that I won't like her after this.

"Hey."

There. The way she speaks, it's like I'm talking to another person. By her first word, she's not the Ashleigh that I thought who would be earlier. I just looked at her with blank expression and just waited for her next statement.

"You're really like him."

I'm surprised upon seeing her smirked playfully but I didn't showed it.

"Then?"

I'm really getting pissed. I'm looking forward for a serious conversation but if it will just going to be like this, I think I shall go.

"That confirms it."

I just take my back at her but she grabbed my right arm again. I guess I have to cut my right arm off the body later.

I front her.

"If you're just going to talk about shits, then you better talk with your ass."

I'm really short-tempered so if you won't stop me, this girl should be lying on the ground.

"Fine. I want you to stay away from Sean."

I gritted my teeth upon hearing that.

"That's it? Well I can't assure you that because in the first place, he is the one linking."

Binitawan niya ang braso ko at mukhang nainsulto pa sa sinabi ko.

"So are you saying that he is linking on you? Masyado ka naman atang assumera." She said in an insulting tone.

But I don't feel being insulted for I know that it's not true.

"Whatever you say, lady. Just look after your man and tell him what you've said to me."

A smirk formed at her lips again.

"My man? So you thought he's my boyfriend? Woah. You have a great guessing skills."

That confirms it. Right. But the hell I care with that.

"This conversation is over. But I can't assure you that I can grant your wish, princess. Because in the first place, I'm not your fairy grand mother."

I was about to turn my back again when she stopped me.

"Wait. This is not only about me. This is also for you. Sean is a harmful person so you should stay away from him. And perhaps, we will both have benefits. You'll be harmful-free, then I can take him. That's already mutual for us."

Selfish. That's the first word came out from my head. I know she's telling the truth that Sean is harmful but I'm also aware that she just want Sean for herself. But I don't fuckin' care at all.

"As I've said, tell him and not me. And if Sean is harmful, why do you want to be with him? Anyway, don't bother to answer that. I'm going."

I already take my step away and I felt relief when she didn't stopped me again. I just managed to run towards my next class. Then there I saw the three idiots. With the professor in front.

"Why are you late? Remember that this is our first class, considering you're from Section A."

Ugh. I thought this is going to be exciting but it turns out na nakakainis na ang mga expectations.

"You know? Girly things, Mr. Professor. You won't understand if we'll try to explain."

Nagulat ako nang biglang sumulpot si Ashleigh sa likod ko. This girl must be a mushroom.
