What if when we died we didn't go to heaven or hell we just stayed at the surface of the middle where we drank water with the angels and drowned our sorrows down in beer with our demons where we hugged the clouds good morning and we kissed the fire of the bottom goodnight what if we cut ourselves up with the harsh words of the devil but patched up our wounds with the golden bandaid of the lord what if our hearts finally turned warm and we were perfect but everything was to good so we went cold and put our imperfections in our soul what if we cut the flesh from our bones our minds and our chest and we threw it into the fire and someone at the top tried to save us but we were to far down .....We were at the point of no return.....
