When I walked into the cafeteria for lunch Dallas wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Hey bae." He whispered in my ear.

I giggled. "Hey." I turned to face him and he kissed me pulling me closer to him so out hips touched.

"I had fun last night. I was sad to see you go." He said putting on his best puppy dog eyes.

"I had fun too." I smiled. I did have fun. I like him and I'm so happy he likes me back.

He walked me over to the table he normally sits at and made room for me. I couldn't help but feel special.

Of course all the popular bitches glared at me, whispering to their friends with overpriced lipstick pouts but I couldn't care less.

The entire time Dallas never took his hands off of me. Then he pulled me on his lap.

"Oh." I squeaked in delight.

His friend's eyes went wide and they looked at each other smiling and laughing.

"Lap dance!" One of them called out and others whooped and cheered.

He wasn't serious. I laughed in order to ignore him.

"C'mon babe." Dallas started moving back in forth and it looked like I was riding him. People started turning and staring at us.

"Dallas stop." I giggled but I was getting pissed at his friends encouraging him.

"Dallas seriously!" I raised my voice.

"Why babe?" His wicked smirk from last night made a reappearance.

"Stop!" I screamed so loud the cafeteria went silent. Now everyone's heads were turned toward me sitting on Dallas's lap. My face was turning a new shade of red. I knew this looked bad.

All his friends had to cover their mouthes to not burst out laughing. But Dallas was more serious.

"Geez babe. Calm down we are just having some fun." He looked mad but he wore a smile to please the gawking spectators.

Everyone started talking again and we weren't the center of attention, thank God.

I slid off Dallas's lap. I am done with that nonsense. He didn't even look at me and I started to feel bad for freaking out over something so stupid.

"I'm sorry baby." I kissed his cheek.

He still ignored me.

"Baby..." I whined and shook his arm.

"Just get off." He shoved me aside.

The bell rang and him and all his friends got up, leaving me alone.

I felt worse than ever. I had the guy I liked I'm the palm of my hand I let him slip away.

I buried my face in my hands for a split second.

No tears Michelle you will not let these people see you cry.

I got up forcing myself to hold back my tears. I clutched my backpack taking out my frustration on it and headed for E period.

I walked in the room and sat in my seat right before the bell rang.

Sean was actually on time today and was grinning at me.

"What's so funny?" I snapped at him once I was seated.

"Nothing." He just smiled and sank lower in his seat. I could tell he was lying but learned that arguing with him is just a waste of breath.

Mrs. Taylor was sitting at her computer probably putting in grades before starting the lesson so the class was talking amongst themselves.

"Hey Michelle heard you and Dallas were gettin' it on during lunch." Cole Hamilton busted out laughing in the back of the classroom along with all his friends. He was trying to start trouble like always.
